“? Best breakfast, coffee and croissants on planet Earth!!!!! ?The breakfast potatoes still have the skin on and are accompanied by sautéed onions and beautiful herbed flavouring. The bacon and sausages are amazing, as were the eggs! BUT, the homemade black beans with slow simmered beef brisket in a tasty sauce is truly mind blowing, not to mention multi-grain toast on the side! Super WOW! Run to this place, don’t walk!“
“Nice spot for Sunday brunch. I had the eggs Benedict and my wife enjoyed the green curry chicken. Both were great. Very attentive service and lovely ambiance. I learned that they have entertainment on Friday evenings. Can't wait to return to enjoy that.“
“The food was amazing. The environment was so welcoming and warm. The service was fantastic. I got 3 tacos, beans, and rice all for $20. I would easily go back! ??Vegetarian options: Cauliflower is a protein option! Vegetarian options tacos.Parking: Parking in the back of the building and lots of it.Kid-friendliness: Very warm and kid friendly dining!“
“What a quaint spot! Oat latte's were fantatsic and the coffee date energy ball and peanut butter chocolate ball were bith fantastic. An amazing treat after a hike in Gatineau Park....and the sun was shining too!Dietary restrictions: A few GF options“
“The food and coffee here is just excellent — really elevated toasts, bowls and brunches. Nice treats too. It is also a great spot to stop while on a wander or bike ride or ski through Gatineau Park. For that reason, Palmier gets super duper busy on weekends and other popular outdoor-activity days. But I always find it worth it to try and squeeze in, because the food and beverage (and scenic patio spots in nice weather) are just so worth it.“
“My girlfriend and I came here for a quick bite after walking around Gatineau park and the food was delicious! I got a gypsie salad with salmon and she got the shrimp curry, both were divine. The interior atmosphere is light and cheerful and very cute!!“
“There is a lot going on in the culinary universe here, including one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had from a wood fired oven. They also have homemade desserts and amazing coffee. The ambiance is very kewl! Chelsea is a food capital of the cosmos! Loving it! Happiee taste bud dancing!“
“You will get a fairly classic québécois casse-croute expérience here. Some may find that standoffish. Cash only, but you can go to the cashier on the convenience store side to use their machine and get what you need to pay. I enjoyed my "poutine-moyenne" although I have had more generous portions elsewhere for the price. It was still good enough that it won't be our last visit.“
“What a gem! When in Wakefield, you MUST go to Le Hibou & visit Lou & Olivia! As soon as we stepped in we knew we were in for a treat. The decor and vibe was so welcoming and comfortable. Lou found us a perfect seat & knowing it was our anniversary made our experience even more special! I will say he makes a mean old fashioned! It was delicious. We ordered the bao bun, the butter chicken poutine, the beet/kimchi "home fries" and the Le Hibou sirloin burger with salad on the side. Everything was CRAZY DELICIOUS! We shared all the plates so we could taste a bit of everything. I wish we had ordered more but our tummies couldn't handle it. For dessert we shared a sundae which felt so retro and nostalgic. It was so fun! What are you waiting for ? Go already!“
