“Our host/server tonight was exceptional. He was polite, pleasant, and super welcoming. He even told us about the picture on the wall's location and purpose. (Beautiful scenery) Our food was fresh, tasty, and hot when brought to our table. We enjoyed a cocktail each, and it was spot on. Thanks for the experience, we will be returning again in the future. May the approaching new year ahead bring abundance and positive growth your way!“

“Let me start by saying the most important thing about this establishment: the hospitality in this restaurant is unmatched. Every single person that we interacted with from the beginning was extremely genuine, very engaged, and treated you so respectfully.

It was my first dining experience in Chatham, so I booked a reservation online. I didn’t realise booking the reservation would be so handy. The place was fully booked at 5pm! From the moment we walked in you could feel the warmth of the place (literally and figuratively - it was freezing outside). We were greeted by Gia who was extremely welcoming and very accommodating.

We were sat at the bar (really great vantage point of the kitchen/hustle and bustle) and we were able to speak to the staff and watch how they communicate with each other and other guests at the bar. This is where we met Rylan. He was sweet, respectful, engaging, attentive, and very social. It was refreshing to see the way he worked. Everything he did was done with so much care and attention. He made my mom a hibiscus margarita (delicious) and an Aperol spritz for me (also delicious).

We were a bit torn about what to order as there were so many great options but with the help of Gia and Rylan, we settled on a beet salad and a Margherita pizza to share. I was hesitant with the salad because I am not a huge fan of Gorgonzola cheese but I gave it a go. Let me tell you that this was the most delicious salad with everything that was in it: the pickled onions, candied cashews, green apple, roasted carrot, among others was extremely yummy. I would definitely recommend this dish and the serving was quite large.

It seemed like the place would be known for the pizza so we opted for Margherita. I loved that when it came out it wasn’t a perfect round shape. A nice artisan looking pizza! I also loved the size of the plate that it came on. I’ve tried a lot of pizzas and this one was unique because I could taste (what felt like) the garlic slices in the sauce. We finished it entirely, but as far as the dough and sauce, this wasn’t my favourite.

Lastly, I kept hearing them talk about the cheesecake so I wanted to try it but my mom also wanted to try the brownie but we only ended up ordering one. I went to the washroom to return and they had brought us both!! The cheesecake with a sparkler because I was there to celebrate my birthday. The brownie was delicious! The cheesecake was good too!

Overall, the staff were such a pleasure to interact with and the atmosphere/vibes were so good. As we sat by the entrance more and more guests were coming in to dine. If there was no one at the front or if they were on the phone, Rylan would stick his head out to greet them and kindly tell them someone would be right with them. That level of service to me is rare these days. It is so important to make your guests feel welcome and this restaurant does it very, very well. You can see the amount of care each and every team member takes to help out where necessary.

The decor as well was super quirky, yet elegant and warm. Everywhere you looked was something more interesting than the last. It was really well well decorated, maintained and clean! All the plates and glasses were so darn cute and unique too. There are some cute areas within the place and intimate tables for celebrations. If I lived in Chatham, I would definitely celebrate (another) birthday here. I have already talked about this place with a few friends in the GTA and cannot wait to come back. Thank you to the team for making it a memorable experience and for the shot and brownie dessert on the house!“
