“Stopped by on our way to Sandbanks and was feeling for some quick Chinese… and this play definitely hit the spot.
This isn’t some fancy authentic Chinese restaurant by any means… it’s more American Chinese with a mall vibe as the food is served from a heat lamp. Not sure if we got lucky or not but there was very little food under the heat lamp but when you order it anyways they make it fresh so it’s a win! We had a few small combos for $9.99 and it was a much better option than the posted predetermined ones.. chicken wings were awesome… fried rice was good… lo mein was good.. can’t really complain. Small lineup but for the price we will definitely be returning when in town.“

“I was a bit hesitant to give 123 a try after reading the reviews (had not ordered food from them in years, and had heard new ownership was not great as of 1-2 years ago). I’m so glad I decided to try it. The food was great with generous portions, service was friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. My order came to $95 and fed 4 adults; there’s still tons left over, easily enough for 1-2 more meals each. At Christmas I ordered the same number of dishes from another Chinese food place in town for a total of $124 and it only fed 4 adults 1 meal each.

I’m guessing ownership has changed since 1-2 years ago because the woman who was working at the counter was nothing but pleasant and provided good service. The orange chicken and Szechuan beef stood out as the highlights of the order - I highly recommend both. They also offer a discount if you pay cash. 123 will definitely be my go-to from now on for Chinese food in Cobourg!“

I previously was not crazy about the rice and other ingredients but Today, I would whole-heartedly recommend the Dinner for 3! Tasty small grains of fried rice. Yummy and tender Beef and Broccoli! New Recipe for General Tso Chicken. Crispy Chicken Balls with Sweet and Sour Red Sauce and 3 Egg Rolls. Great Job! Great Price! For previous Customers who want to be redeemed, try Five Star again!
