“Sam our server saved the day! She was so funny and down to earth. We came in super late, hungry last minute customers, and worked so hard to make our night good. When they ran out of ingredients for the items we ordered, they subbed other pieces from different menu items so we could still get what we wanted. Truly fantastic!“

“Truly yhe BEST Cajun wings I've ever had in my life. I wish I could Speaker for yhe rest of the menu but the wings are far too tasty for me to get anything else. Oh the calamari is dope too. Also the owner is sweet as he'll! Love this food!“

The food was overall good, definitely recommend the Cajun dry rub wings, it was really nice, fresh and crispy. I don’t really recommend the nachos though, we ordered chicken nachos and the portion was really small with very few pieces of chicken, for the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Also don’t recommend fish and chips even though it tasted good. The fish portion was way too small (you could finished it in 2 bites).
They also don’t have any mocktails options which I would expect a bar to have for those who don’t drink or can’t drink.
The service was good but a bit slow, only 2 servers (1 on the floor and 1 at the bar) at the time, but this could be because we came on a weekday, not sure about the weekend.“

“I've never actually been there on a busy night especially to try their seafood Monday nights. The atmosphere surprises me because the first time entering you would not think that they serve island dish and the misic is comforting. I do enjoy going there.“

“My first time there was 02/03/24. Nice place and definitely an adult crowd. A big shout to the DJ/Selector "Roots Fire Sound" Donson, who was fantastic. He had the vibes on lock with good music and shout-outs to the birthday people about five that night. The owner of the lounge, Sugar bird, took over from the DJ/Selector about 2 hours before closing, and why? He shut the vibes down. He needs to let the professional do the job from start to finish. There is also jerk chicken, chicken wings, soup, and other food, which I won't comment on because I didn't eat anything. There is also a $10 charge at the door.“

“Great place to gather Iraqi Canadians in the GTA. While it's sitting in the middle of an industrial hub, it has succeeded in gathering families around a tasty traditional meal, like creamchop or "qoozi", or a social game or event. This place can do something with to be more esthetically pleasing but hey who cares.This place targets a specific community and may not be appreciated by others.You have to know somebody there before you can enjoy the place.“

“Its an unashamedly 'no frills' local Portuguese pub and if you appreciate it through that lens of that you'll have a good time.No beer on draft, cash only, although people here down to earth, nice and owner/Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Complimentary popcorn/snacks and people who don't take themselves too seriously having a good time. Well worth a visit??“
“It’s a dive bar and a great place to have a couple of drinks . $5 beers: don’t expect to eat here. Great patio and chill, relaxed environment. Local bar and definitely has a charm. I stop by whenever in the neighborhood. Friendly people once they realize you’re not a cop. Be respectful and you won’t have a problem. Mr. Lee is amazing.“

“Great food! This is a place that has maintained the same high standard for over a decade. Excellent and fast service as well, atmosphere is ok, can't help getting the ocassional sketchy crowds from the bars next door but nothing too bad. This is and will continue to be our go-to spot on Friday nights after hockey games for our family. Keep it up guys. Great job!“

“My friends and I had a great time here after stopping by on a whim; we liked the name as we walked by. Great food and drinks, all very reasonably priced. We are from the States and were met with warmth and hospitality, and given so many ideas on where to go next. Ozzi, Kevin, and Pedro, along with others, offered us a wonderful time and conversation. “We dine here regularly and find the service and the food to be excellent. In spite of the crowd last night (Leafs / Florida Game 7), our server Kelsey never made us wait, and was friendly, smiling and efficient. All of the staff should be commended as we have never had poor service in the two years since we moved to the neighbourhood and began coming to the St. Clair location.“
