P.S.: Halal does not mean the food underwent some crazy rituals, it means the animal was raised without harm or abuse, was not sick, slaughtered while alive -not dead-, and bled completely.“

“It's worth driving to the nearest Chik-fil-A to get a delicious chicken meal. The service is great whether drive through or eat in- where your food is brought to your table. There's even flowers on some tables for a great accent. I enjoyed the deluxe chicken with waffle fries and a chocolate shake that came with whipped cream and a cherry on top!“

My daughters team wanted to do a team meal at the hotel that we could take out and Dhruv made this process so very simple.. the taco meal that we ordered for 35 people was delicious. “Don't buy anything from the Mary Browns in Oshawa at King St and Gibbons St. just north of the Oshawa Shopping Center. The past owner were of Asian nationality and the Chicken quality was top notch, and really fresh and hot. The new owners are east Indian nationality. Now, every piece of chicken has broken bones and blood throughout the meat. And it's not cooked properly, and soggy. Smells like the cooking oil was old as well. The staff was uninterested in working there, very sad employees.“

Other then that. The burgers are good but they have additional prices for specific toppings and tomato, lettuce, onion that was available for free.
So a bit nickel and diming. But otherwise the food is ok. Wish the patties were a bit thicker but they tasted fresh so that's a plus.

“The Forum in Oshawa takes you back in time . It's an old truck stop that has large portions and low prices . If you're looking for fancy , this isn't it . The food is great , westerns are massive and three of us had breakfast for just under $30 tax in . You will need to have cash as they don't take debit or credit .“

“This is usually my favorite chip truck. Not sure what happened but today's poutine was not as good as the others. 9.5/10 times it's amazing and delicious but today was the .5 where it was wrong. The fries were alright, gravy had hardly any flavour (there was also hardly any gravy on the poutine at all), but the squeaky cheese was delicious! Today poutine was probably a 6/10 when usually it's a 12/10. I still recommend you going and trying their food though.“

And I had an experienced where one of them made a mistake on my order and that is fine mistakes happen but when I told her that was not what I ordered she was not nice or apologetic at all instead she was arguing saying that was what I ordered. I always order the same thing and simply did not make a fuss about it , I simply reordered what I wanted . I really did not make a scene I just wanted what I ordered. “I love Hanc's Fries. Long time staple of my old home town for probably 50 years of changes of venue and chip trucks/trailer but they have always been the best fries around to be found though mine are pretty awesome too. The Hanc's were a few doors down from my growing up and I'm proud of having been a tiny part of the history of these historically well known and appreciated fries and family now there's more great food available and not just their awesome fries. Go check them out if your looking for a French fry truck while out travelling or don't feel like cooking, you won't be disappointed.“
