“What a hidden gem beside Walmart in Waterdown! It was my first visit, and it didn’t disappoint. The owner was incredibly welcoming, greeting us with a complimentary hot pot of tea—a perfect start on a cold night.

We began with the fresh shrimp rolls, a delightful combination of rice, bok choy, and shrimp wrapped in rice paper. While the peanut sauce was good, I highly recommend trying it with the hoisin sauce—a sweet and tangy Korean sauce that elevated the flavors beautifully.

For mains, I had the stir fried egg noodles with mixed vegetables and shrimp. The portion was massive, with fivd or six large prawns and perfectly spiced, fresh ingredients. My dining partner opted for the Pad Thai with beef, which had a unique red sauce with a mild spice kick. Both dishes were flavorful, generous, and priced reasonably at $17 each.

The freshness of the ingredients stood out, and we even had leftovers for lunch the next day. While the seating area could use a modern update, the food and hospitality made up for it. I’m definitely returning to explore more of the menu!

Update: we went back for more, this time we tried the beef rice roll, I prefer the shrimp one. For main course, I ordered the pad thai with shrimps and my wife ordered the stir fried egg noodles with mixed vegetables and beef. It was such satisfying choices.“

“Stopped in for some dinner before my work Christmas party and was very pleased.

The service is great, was given recommendations, and it was quite fast considering they had 3 Christmas parties going on when we came.

The food was also great, wife got the sweet Carolina chicken sandwich and was very happy with it. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was also very good, but not very hot. One waiter told me that they get that a lot because they hot sauce is too hot for most people, which is understandable. So just ask for some franks or other hot sauce on the side if you want more of a kick!“

“Freshii at the University Plaza in Dundas is a great place to get a bowl of healthy delicious food. Staff is always most Cooperative about making substitutions so that it turns into a personalized bowl. Any vegans out there, I highly recommend the Buddha bowl with tofu already on it, Sub out the rice noodles for whole grain rice and instead of the crispy wontons (not sure if they're vegan) for edamame beans. Now you got more fiber and more protein plus the goodness of soy. Staff are helpful. I'm thinking we should name this bowl after me LOL do you want to name it the Tracey bowl? Oh and it's covered with a delicious slightly spicy peanut sauce which is also customizable. Like I said most cooperative and parking is super easy in front of the store. Thank you to staff who assist me there.

Vegetarian options: Most of the meals presented on the menu do you have some kind of animal products on them. They say they can be easily subbed out. I would rather start with a bowl that is already vegan and then do my best to make it to my liking.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of options are mentioned on their menu but you can customize anything. So if you want vegetarian you can get that if you want vegan you can get that. You may want to check ingredient lists

Parking: It's a strip Plaza so you park your car and have to walk across the the laneway is where cars are driving to get to the store. I handicapped and I never have a problem finding a space close enough.“

“Came out to celebrate my birthday with a friend last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was above par; we had the trout and steak which were both delicious. Our server, Nicole was attentive and well-versed, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we always had what we needed. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we had an excellent seat in the booth which was very comfy and we really appreciated the atmosphere. “very solid breakfast place! portions are enormous, food is very tasty - though the french toast I had today tasted weirdly salty, like as if someone had put salt over it instead of sugar. (personally I kinda liked it, but I'm weird.)
I also really liked that the bathrooms were all single rooms marked as gender neutral, AND that there was a separate, larger room for people with disabilities. as someone visibly androgynous, I don't like to use gendered washrooms, but frequently the only neutral options are also the only accessible washrooms for people with disabilities, which puts me in a very uncomfortable position. It broke the Scale in my mind, their pizza is amazing their sauce, especially when you put extra cheese delicious and they have great customer service so I give Domino five stars I will buy pizza from there more often and especially when you download the app the discounts“

“One thing here - we picked up a pizza from their store and they said the pizza was 12.99 plus tax then it came to exactly $16 on debit which doesn't add up so double check your price before paying because although it's a few cents it's just kinda strange. “Incredibly delicious food, served up in generous portions. I was visiting in the Hamilton area and found the food so tasty, that I ate here three times in a week; twice for lunch, once for dinner. First visit: lunch: had the vegetarian dish/platter of hummos, eggplant, falafel, fried cauliflower, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, served with your choice of soup or any of the salads on the menu and dinner plate sized fresh pitas. I had the Greek salad, which was excellent and, again, a generous portion. This meal could easily have been shared with two people, especially for lunch. My lunch mate took half of her meal home and I took my left over hummos (at least a half a cup) and pita for an afternoon snack later. Second visit: dinner with a group of six: I started with lentil soup, then had the spicy lemon shrimp with pilaf style rice and served with pita bread. We shared the salads that came as starters; all were delicious: Greek, Fatoush, and Tabouli. Third visit: spicy lemon shrimp, but substituted hummos for the rice. Again, generous portion with at least two dozen shrimp. Nothing chintzy about this place. The service could be a little more attentive, especially for the second dinner, which was at around 3:30 p.m. and, as is often the case when a restaurant is almost empty, was not hurried by any means. I had told the waitress I was in a hurry, but that didn't seem to help. Had to track her down to make my order and then my bill never came, so I went to the counter to pay. “Was our breakfast stop on Monday morning and it was a great choice. Friendly atmosphere, good food, portions were bigger than we expected and it was a good surprise. Coffe is great. Wish they had more tables and space. Also better to ask them about the dish, as some descriptions doesn't say that it is spicy, which would be frustrating for someone who can not tolerate peppers.
