“We were looking for food in the area and decided to give this place a try with our toddler. The staff were friendly and patient when explaining the options for ordering. They prepared a small side of rice for our toddler as he couldn't do a full meal, and they were kind about the mess he made while we ate there. The place was clean, and they immediately cleaned up the spot we ate as we left.
The tacos I ordered were fully loaded so the value was good. The food was delicious.

“We had such an amazing experience at Atomic10! Our group of 14 came in for a birthday celebration, and from start to finish, everything was so well run. The staff went above and beyond — the Blue Jays were in the World Series that night, and with almost no notice, they set up a projector and makeshift screen so we could watch the game together while celebrating. This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! Pupusas So Good I Forgot to Take the Damn Photo

Intro Scene
There’s a certain joy in sitting on a scrappy Toronto curbside patio, elbow deep in sauce, sun burning your scalp, margarita in hand that tastes like someone waved tequila at it from across the street At Carmileta’s, I learned if the pupusas are good enough, you’ll forget the photo —and your manners.

What Was Ordered
A reckless spread of pupusas every variety fresh, stuffed just right, dripping that bright, zippy house sauce. That purple curtido soaked the plate like edible confetti. I chased it with a polka-dot margarita that looked like a party, tasted like it RSVP’d ‘Maybe.’

Service Commentary
Service was pure gold. Our server was genuinely sweet polite without the act, attentive without lurking. Friendly in that way that makes you want to come back just to see them again.

Vibe Check
Neighbourhood gem energy. It feels like your friend’s kitchen if your friend plastered the walls in papel picado and community flyers. The patio? A Toronto curb lane special picnic benches and umbrellas wedged between parked cars and planters. Not exactly private, but good for people watching and airing out last night’s sins.

The Space Itself
Bright yellow facade that dares you not to smile. Mismatched vintage plates, that iconic sauce bottle, and a front window that says ‘we care, but not enough to get fancy.’ Inside feels like someone’s cousin was paid in pupusas to decorate exactly how it should be.

About the Neighborhood
Right in the heart of The Junction meaning parking’s a gamble, but you’ll run into dogs, strollers, and bearded dads in denim jackets. The perfect strip for a mid-
day food coma and a semi-regrettable frozen drink with your accountant buddy.

My curiosity led me to also try the maapo libre and the pingo coreano. They are all delicious and have great portion sizes. Had a carne asada (beef) torta and a horchata, it did not disappoint. Compared to Gus’ Taco, Piñata has a much better vibe (Gus’ feels like McCraps too). Fast, friendly service at Piñata Tacos!. Acceptable decor. This was my experience … Sitting in the cozy patio heated up by some warm outdoor heaters and greeted by the Owner Antonio in a very friendly manner and leading me to their cozy outdoor patio space heated up by outdoor heaters. “I’ll try to make this as brief as possible.

First and foremost, I firmly believe the yuca fries they serve here are the best within a solid 5 k radius. I’ve gone to several restaurants around The Junction and Roncesvalles area and let me say, NONE of those fries taste, feel or smell as good as the ones they serve here at Cool Hand. These guys have clearly set the standards in that regard. And the Aioli sauce that comes with them… ufff (chef’s kiss). Every time I go there, if I order a sandwich you bet I’ll pay for those side fries.

My second favourite thing (and I’ll admit it’s not everyone’s preference) is the Purple Paradise drink (beetroot and ginger). If a fresh, mildly temperate Saturday morning had a taste, it would taste like Purple Paradise. Laugh all you want, I love this drink.

If you’re thinking about ordering a sandwich I have three real good ones for you; Cheddar Chutney, Tarragon Chicken or the Avocado Parmesan. I haven’t decided which is my favourite. Their bread selection is superb, the sizes are fair and the chef does an excellent job at making them taste delicious. At this point I just alternate between the three of them with every visit. Don’t forget the fries!

Last but not least, the service. I mean, I’m not even a couple of steps fully inside when they greet me and offer me a table. They’ll ask me about my day, answer all of my questions and won’t leave me waiting more than necessary. Love the theme. Love the music, love the staff.

“A delicious taco joint squirreled away. I highly HIGHLY recommend the cochinitas. So juicy and flavourful!!! The quesabirria was good too but not as impressive to me as the cochinitas. The consomme was a little light but if you think consimme is generally too heavy to enjoy, its a good balance between flavour and oil.

“This is how great food starts!

Visited for our first time and the food is delicious. Fairly priced and great potions quality and quantity.

We started with some fresh chips and dips, they were so good, our server also brought us out a spicy saucy that we added to the dips.

Mains we tried their fish taco that is too 10 in Toronto - I can see why. Great flavours!! We also had the pork taco, it was very good and rich!

The beef taco with the grave was soooo good!

Would highly recommended this place, it’s small, but packs a punch with their offerings the quality of their food and ingredients.

I believe they bring out a special taco for the day of the dead, something to keep and eye out for!
