I’ve been wanting to visit O Hime Cake for a long time, and today I finally got the chance—and it did not disappoint! This place truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best dessert spots in the KWC region.

The cakes are an absolute dream. They strike the perfect balance of sweetness—not too overpowering, but just right. The sponge cake is incredibly fresh and smooth, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that feels like a treat with every bite. Each flavor is so rich and well-crafted that it’s hard to stop at just one piece.

Beyond the desserts, the ambiance of O Hime Cake adds to the entire experience. The place has such a charming, cozy vibe with a modern yet cute aesthetic that makes you want to linger. The atmosphere is complemented by a soothing fragrance in the air, making the space feel even more welcoming and relaxing.

Overall, O Hime Cake exceeded my expectations. If you're in the KWC area and looking for a delightful dessert experience, this is definitely the spot to visit!

“I ordered several deserts and a common theme, they were all too sweet. The coconut tart was the best in terms of balance. I will however say they all had great texture, moisture, and were baked to perfection.

But… man i feel diabetic after the pumpkin tart thing. I had to try and eat it without the Frosting.

They are so so good - absolute indulgence without the heaviness or discomfort as I have a sensitivity to dairy. You wouldn’t even know they were gf/df they are so tasty! “Biked to St Jacob’s and found this small coffee shop and ice cream place. Had a cappuccino and a slice of the lemon cake, both delicious. The young woman serving was excellent, very friendly and helpful, checked which milk for the cappuccino and gave me a China cup when I told her that I’d stay in. There was a water station too where I could refill my water bottle. I will be back to try some of the breakfast sandwiches .“

I've had the pleasure of having an assortment of her cookies and macarons and let me tell you - WOW! Not only are her macarons gorgeous and perfectly proportioned, the flavors are on point! “Always busy here, but it's one of the main reasons why we come here. I never knew pretzels could be this delicious. Buttery soft goodness. Never tried the cinnamon one, but I'm happy to keep coming back for the salted ones. It's the more popular choice and they continuously make a new batch every 5 minutes or so because it's that busy and popular. It's the perfect soft pretzel. These ladies are fast and efficient and good at what they do. They only take cash!“

“Stopped by this morning, on my walk home from a nearby appointment. The sign, outside, advertising today's soup (Red lentil with mint a a touch of Lemon) had my mouth watering. Bought some for lunch but bought the Fruit and Seed square to have with my morning coffee. It was perfect!!“

“One of my go to for unique treats and crisps. Fresh produce and lovely Staff. They seem to be out of my fave store brand pistachio ice cream whenever I go but Häagen Dazs are my second choice which are always available. The fresh cook food and baked pastries are also good. They open early and close late which is a plus. I also grab fresh cut fruits whenever I can like the watermelon and my A2 milk.“
