“We absolutely love OMY chicken. Its not cheap, but soooo worth it. It's run by a very nice couple who really do a fantastic job. We've tried all the different types of fried chicken and the padak is our top choice, but they're all amazing! The teokbokki is good, as well as the corn cheese. We haven't had much else besides the chicken because it's just so delicious. The large order of chicken is the perfect amount for 4 people.

“Inconspicuous little store in a strip plaza but worth seeking it out. Great tasting fish and chips. The batter is amazing and the chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The counter service was so friendly! Will definitely drop by again.“

“If you are looking for a little mom and pop place to enjoy fish and chips, look no further. And if you like your fish grilled not battered, this is the place.

Friends recommended Country Fish & Chips so I went there for take out. I was greeted at the counter right away by a friendly woman who took my order. I ordered one piece of regular halibut and chips, and one piece of grilled halibut with cole slaw. It is just over $30. It's hard to feed two people for that amount any more. And it was ready in about 15 minutes.

“Just had their Greek chicken souvlaki with rice and salad and I was actually surprised at how delicious it was coming from a fish house. The rest of my party had the fish and chips of various varieties and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and were full and it was cooked to perfection.“

The owner Chaudhry saab has made significant improvements in regards to the quality and quantity of the fish served, the dining experience and the price of the food. “I have been a customer of this location for the past many years. Quality of food had always their priority. Our last visit was takeout of 4 orders of cod and chips. French fries was amazing and the Fish was most definitely delcious i would recommend to anyone who enjoys good quality food.“

“It's one of the better fish n chips place where the fish taste good along with the fries. Now I say that but the fries are still on the plain side of fries, but they're nice and crispy and some seasoning helps out.

They got deals on certain days, making the cost quite reasonable.

The location is nice and calming with the blue atmosphere.

My only complaint is when requesting poutine to be added to your dish, it's a completely different dish and cannot be combined as an addon. Which they use to do by making it an addon and you pay whatever amount for it. But if you try to get the deals and poutine you have to pay full price instead of the deal + addon.

Aside form that, I enjoy eating or getting takeout from halibut house.“

Parking was easy enough, and service was welcoming and accommodating — I asked for extra tartar sauce and ketchup, no problem at all.
