“We celebrated my 70th birthday with a party at Scaddabush. Originally we met with Rayna to discuss and she took note of everything that we wanted. As it got closer to the event, each time I emailed her with a question, she responded promptly. When we arrived for the party of 37 people, everything was set up exactly as I wanted. The food was amazingly good, and Noah and Kayla (our servers) treated us like royalty. My guests all had a wonderful evening and all of them boasted about how delicious their food was. I highly recommend Scaddabush, and we would definitely return if we had another celebration to plan.“

“As a long-time sushi lover, I recommend this place. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite. The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, with each roll and nigiri made with care. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

They also have table seating, which is great if you prefer a sit-down meal setting. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. One of the most fun surprises was the selection of unique Asian pops and ice creams for dessert—definitely not something you see everywhere.

“I asked the lady at the counter what the best sellers were and she didn’t understand me and I didn’t understand her. I ended up ordering a tuna salad sandwich toasted on pumpernickel bread and ironically they didn’t have pumpernickel so I had it on rye. hahaha anyway, I enjoyed my sandwich, it was 9/10 delicious, I would order it again. Yummy. Note: I honestly didn’t expect much but I was happy with that delicious sandwich. Yes. I would come back and order again.“

“I order catering from Porta Via quite often for corporate events I run for work. They food is a 10/10 hit and people beg me to order from here every single time. I usually end up ordering the boxes to make it easier with the panini and salad and the paninis are so filling I always have half left over for dinner. Well worth it. I huge shout out to the kind gentleman who delivers from the Eglington location. He is always on time, extremely polite and goes out of his way to call in advance, when he is here and helps bring in the order if I need it (although I try to have a cart so he doesn't have to). He's the best! Their online ordering is perfect and if you have any dietary concerns I just have to write comments in and I have never had any issues with them accommodating. Give them a try for catering or just a walk in, you won't regret it.“

“Went here twice while staying the weekend in Toronto for an event. The first night was BUSY but they still managed to find us a place and get us some great food and drinks without issue! Last night 10/28/2023 we came back just for some drinks around 11 and sat at the bar. I could tell it had been a LONG day for everyone working (anyone who has worked service knows the look of a long day) and let me just say. Everyone was still wonderful and kind and helpful. I wish I could remember her name but the woman working the bar with dark hair was AMAZINGGGGG I'm sad we live so far away, but next year we'll be back :)“

“This is a very nice location because the employees do such a good job. They’re re very careful with how they prepare each sandwich and are always efficient. They are not necessarily outgoing and bubbly, but they are polite and respectful. Good people.

The ingredients are always fresh and the sandwiches are always well-made. Street parking is quite easy also.

“I went to Freshii the first time and I got the spicy Buffalo bowl. After trying it I felt it was spicer than I thought I could handle and wasn’t able to have more than a few bites of my bowl. Henery one of the employees was able to remake me another bowl much milder! I definitely would be back again and appreciate the great customer service and enjoyed the food as well“

“From out of town for a conference and we were looking for something that wasn’t Tims. We were very happy to find this place. Our coffees were a great pick-me-up, and the Spartan Wraps hit the spot. Staff were friendly and the tables were clean. What a nice bright spot to start the day.
