“As a long-time sushi lover, I recommend this place. The fish and ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite. The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, with each roll and nigiri made with care. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

They also have table seating, which is great if you prefer a sit-down meal setting. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. One of the most fun surprises was the selection of unique Asian pops and ice creams for dessert—definitely not something you see everywhere.

“I asked the lady at the counter what the best sellers were and she didn’t understand me and I didn’t understand her. I ended up ordering a tuna salad sandwich toasted on pumpernickel bread and ironically they didn’t have pumpernickel so I had it on rye. hahaha anyway, I enjoyed my sandwich, it was 9/10 delicious, I would order it again. Yummy. Note: I honestly didn’t expect much but I was happy with that delicious sandwich. Yes. I would come back and order again.“

“Went here twice while staying the weekend in Toronto for an event. The first night was BUSY but they still managed to find us a place and get us some great food and drinks without issue! Last night 10/28/2023 we came back just for some drinks around 11 and sat at the bar. I could tell it had been a LONG day for everyone working (anyone who has worked service knows the look of a long day) and let me just say. Everyone was still wonderful and kind and helpful. “I order catering from Porta Via quite often for corporate events I run for work. They food is a 10/10 hit and people beg me to order from here every single time. I usually end up ordering the boxes to make it easier with the panini and salad and the paninis are so filling I always have half left over for dinner. Well worth it. I huge shout out to the kind gentleman who delivers from the Eglington location. He is always on time, extremely polite and goes out of his way to call in advance, when he is here and helps bring in the order if I need it (although I try to have a cart so he doesn't have to). He's the best! Their online ordering is perfect and if you have any dietary concerns I just have to write comments in and I have never had any issues with them accommodating. Give them a try for catering or just a walk in, you won't regret it.“
