My biggest complaint is you have to wait in long lines because they only allow people with less than 15 items to use self checkout. Personally I often prefer srl checkout and it's annoying as hell standing in line for 15 minutes for a human to ring up my groceries when I could do my own checkout much faster. Why have 6 self checkouts when they're empty and you can't use them. Drives me nuts“

“Discovered Sugar & Slice at the Grimsby Market and we are definitely repeat customers. The peach crumble pie is amazing, yummy cheddar scones are perfect with a bowl of soup, and the magic squares are moist and delicious. But the best by far are the ooey-gooey, fabulous buttertarts. Great quality and value for all the products. Michelle also did a custom ladybug cake (chocolate/vanilla layers) and the most adorable ladybug sugar cookies that everyone raved about.“

“I love this bakery!! Beautiful grains and delicious baked goods! Intimate atmosphere with delicious coffee drinks. The employees are helpful and keep the establishment very clean. Definitely stop in and grab a crispy cookie or flakey croissant with your morning cup. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I stopped in yesterday for the 1st time and man oh man is this place a little gem. I was unsure of what to get so the gentleman who was there gave me a piece of the baklava to try...IT WAS ABSOLUTLEY DELICIOUS. I ended up buying a couple pieces of each flavor (cashew, almond, pistachio and traditional). Don't even get me started on the honey cake with pistachios...DROOLSSSS. I will most certainly be back to give the shawarma a try after having such a good experience with the fresh yummy desserts. I am not sure if the guy working that day is the owner or not, but he was very friendly and sweet. I cannot say enough good things about this place!“
