“Good coffee but they need better deals. McDonalds across the street does 1.79 Large Ice Coffee. Capitalism means competing not living in price denial and charging $3 for the same product. You'd think Tim Hortons would be more aware that they are losing a price war and profit as coffee costs 50 cents a cup with labor included.“
“One of the best Tim Hortons I've been to.Staff is VERY friendly and helpful, coffee is always hot and fresh. If you run a coffee shop, visit this Timmy's to see how it should run!Dietary restrictions: They are able to take care of most dietary restrictions /allergies.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, kid sized drinks include milk, chocolate milk, juicesWheelchair accessibility: Doors aren't wheelchair friendly, but interior and seating is.“
“Great staff and excellent food. There are always fun new things to try when you visit!Kid-friendliness: The counter is low so it is easy to see most of the items, and the staff is super nice and always very willing to help explain any items.“
“Almaza is great. The rotisserie chicken exceeds all expectations and reputations. One of the best dishes you can get. Love all the sides that are offered, along with a great variety of other dishes. Everything tastes super fresh and perfectly seasoned. A must try if you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food.“
“Very few places nail every part of the experience but this place does. Food was amazing. They mill their own flower in house and you can see them do it. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had. The service was top shelf. They had a line on a busy Saturday morning but they moved it quickly and it never affected the quality of the service“
“Full disclosure I live out of town now. When I lived in the 716 every time I needed a birthday cake, I got one from here. When my girlfriend wanted something sweet, I got it from here. It's mandatory we get something from here when we visit. The mallow cup pie is a must, along with any of their different flavors of cheesecake.“
“What a wonderfull bakery/pizza kitchen! I visited this weekend and as soon as we stepped through the door, we LOVED the decor and how cute it was in there! The bakery had many BEAUTIFUL cupcakes and desserts displayed. They also offer tea and fresh juice! The cupcakes and brownie we tried where absolutely wonderful! It was nice to see others recieving their orders of handmade pizza ( looked AMAZING, haven't tried yet) and seeing how sweet and kind the owners are. We will most definitely be back! Love supporting such a wonderful small business!!!“
“We stopped by the bakery for the first time yesterday, and this is also the first time trying any of their products. Though the cupcake was a little underwhelming, the muffins more than made up for the cupcakes this morning and would not take away from my 5-star review. Even cupcakes can have a bad day! The muffins were AMAZING! Overall, they have a nice variety of gluten free options that will keep me coming back.“
“Went there yesterday for the first time because I had envy seeing a friend get a gift box of these delectable delights! The lemon cheesecake was one of the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had. They are so huge that you could share it with three friends.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options“
“I (finally!) stopped in to pick up a few cupcakes to try. They were the most delicious cupcakes I had ever eaten! Cupcakes tend to be on the dry side or almost oily to avoid dryness, but these…THESE!! They were light and airy, perfectly moist with delicious flavor. The combinations were impeccably chosen. I typically prefer the cake part and usually scrape off excessive frosting, but these were perfectly proportioned! Surprisingly, my favorite was the strawberry crunch (reminiscent of those ice cream bars)—I normally side with chocolatey treats so it was quite a shock. What a great addition to the Hertel neighborhood!“
“Half Baked has become our family’s favorite spot to get a treat! Their baked goods stand above any competitive business by far! Their flavors are SO vibrant, their baked goods are fresh and moist. The portions are huge, with fair pricing for the quality of their products!“
“I was buying baklava from stores that was packaged and was prolly packaged loooong ago! I discovered حلويات و مأكولات بلاد الشام on Facebook and had to go check it out! The owners were so nice and had me sample it! I loved it and how fresh it is too!! Baked fresh! I shared it with my friends and family! They all agree and I’m sure they’ll be going there too for a good taste!“
“I reached out to Radah Baked Goods for a 90th Birthday specialty cake for my grandmother . The entire process was seamless! I didn’t get a chance to taste the cake, but my grandmother (who the cake was for) raved about how delicious it was. For me when my 90 year old grandmother loves it, mission accomplished!!! Thank you so much for your professionalism and your great service!“
“The place is actually fantastic, they have some really creative food that's mostly all sourced locally and fresh.. the employees are really friendly and down to earth and certainly don't rush you or act like you're bothering them.. everything I ordered was delicious. I'll definitely be returning.. if you've gone by this place and weren't sure if you'd like it you should give it a try I'm pretty sure that you'll find it's worth it.. just be aware that on the weekends it gets really busy.... I guess I was the last to know about this place ?“
“I can not say enough about Fairy Cakes Cupcakery! They created the most beautiful dessert table and adorable teddy bear cookie favors for my daughter’s baby shower! They are great to work with and do everything to ensure you are 100% delighted with your treats! Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful, and how tasty, every single dessert was! Thank you so much!!“
“Every single thing we bought was amazing. We tried the red velvet cake, PB cookies, Oatmeal cookies, brownie, and lemon pound cake. Everything was the perfect amount of moist. The flavors were incredible. The PB cookies were my girlfriend’s favorite because they were the first cookies she’s had that has tasted like her mom’s, so that was super sweet.I’m not a fan of red velvet anything so just know that we were both surprised as I enjoyed her entire slice of cake—with her blessing of course :) I love sweets, but there’s such a thing as being too sweet and that rounds it for me. Was not the case at all here. Everything we tried was perfect felt like subverting who loved you made it especially for you, Lol We’re forever customers.“
“I recently was diagnosed with a wheat allergy, and life has sucked until now. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Service was a little slow but was worth the wait. They were packed, and once my food arrived, I could see why. Everything looked, tasted, and smelled amazing. I was able to indulge in a cookie while I waited, and my hamburger with fresh cut fries was amazing. Everything was fairly priced, and I left with my leftovers and a frozen pizza to try later. A few days later, I tried the pizza and was again blown away. It was fairly priced and delicious. I did not feel like I was "settling" for gluten-free food because this was good enough that I'd eat it even if I wasn't gluten-free.Dietary restrictions: Everything is surprisingly gluten free!“
“They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches here and the baked bread selection is amazing. We always get a dozen pretzel and rosemary bagels to go and freeze them for later. They also have a nice selection of cream cheeses and other goodies like fresh eggs and pickled red onion in their cooler. Definitely recommend ordering online because there usually is a 20 min wait for sandwiches if you get there after 9am.“
“Went for the first time last week and the food was delicious. But I was especially impressed with the fact that they used coffee ice cubes in my iced coffee! I do this myself at home but have never been out to a restaurant that does it! Means as the ice cubes melt the coffee doesn't get diluted with water, because the ice cubes are just more coffee! Fantastic.“
“Wow. ….That about sums it up.Super cute, spacious, clean, cheery place; owner has a huge infectious smile, very warm and friendly; the treats are absolutely stunning. homemade, unique, and most importantly, DELICIOUS! And to top it all off… it’s affordable! It’s not outrageously expensive like some of these places, it’s priced outstandingly. We got a 3 pack of chocolate covered Oreos (gorgeous, too, might I add. So perfect looking they seem fake), a chocolate caramel cupcake, a cream cheese taquito-looking pastry that I can’t remember the name of, and a lavender-honey latte (to die for! And it came with this cute little lilac colored mini butterfly sugar cookie sitting on top when I came to the counter. Classy touch)… all for like $17. My only regret is that I didn’t get a larger one. It’s so good. Will definitely will return. Just wish I would have known about this place sooner. It’s around the corner from Suzuki, which we visit weekly. GO HERE!!“
“Best looking and tasting cakes in town! I have been ordering cakes from Ohlson's for the last 5 years and they are consistently delicious and equally beautiful. This last cake for my 1 year old daughters swan lake party was a huge hit at her party.“
“It's an OK bagel not a lot of variety. I couldn't believe that. There were no poppyseed bagels. They don't have them out regularly. It's more of an artisan. Bake shop than a bagel place. There is no ambience. You walk right into the kitchen and tell them what you want. They were all nice, they don't give a bakers dozen. The girl didn't know what one was. And I thought they were expensive, but I'd love to see them do well.“
“My first time at Crumbl Cookies and it was just as good as I had imagined it would be! The indescribable smell when you walk in is to die for, the staff were very nice and the cookie was delicious. Yes it is expensive but that is a known thing when you go, especially in CAD.“
“My favorite bakery hands down. The cheesecake is to die for. There are so many flavors to choose from and they are all delicious. The hits don’t stop there though, the thumbprint cookies are superb along with a bunch of other baked goods. Highly recommend if you’re living or passing through Amherst. (Also just tried the seasonal pumpkin bar and it was phenomenal.)“
“I need you to stop what you're doing and go to blackbird. Everything I've had from there is delicious!! The funfetti cookies, soft, chewy and flavorful. The chocolate cookies in the "build your own cookie sandwich", delicious and such a cute idea. All of their cupcake the vanilla, the blackbird, the peanut butter, the red velvet are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life and I eat A LOT of cupcakes. Easily top 5 best bakeries in WNY.“
“This bakery has yummy vegan treats, from cookies, cupcakes and even “beef” jerky. It is a frequent stop of mine since I live in Lancaster. Pictured is a funfetti, double stuffed cookie (oreo inside). I would have taken a photo of my bf double stuffed chocolate chip cookie, but he ate it by the time we got back home.“
“Stumbled upon this place after driving past here! It was on Easter day, so the store was closed but decided to come back the next day. Upon walking in, the store looked like a standard "hole-in-the wall" place and had a simple selection of donuts to choose from. If you want to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $5. Donuts: I got the classic glazed donut, peanut donut, red velvet, and a cream filled donut. The glazed donut was soft and delicious. The peanut donut was more on the crumbly side but still great flavour. The red velvet had a nice cream cheese icing. The cream filled donut had a typical white cream filling. Personally, I liked the glazed donut the best - great texture and wasn't too overly sweet. The pricing here is amazing - $1.50 for great quality donuts! Easy to park on the street. There's no seating inside, so it's more of a takeout place. They also sell lottery tickets alongside donuts. It is certainly worth the visit along the way coming from Toronto.“
“One of our favorite things to grab while at the farmers market! Their knishes are delicious and we usually grab a few to have while walking through the market. These were the hot noodles flavor that they don't make often and boy were they good. The owners are always super friendly and fun to talk with too! If you get a chance definitely got to try them! Also sorry for the missing bite in the picture but they are just too dang good and couldn't wait!“
“We were visiting the area, and a friend who lives here was saying how he couldn't stay away from these cakes. So we had to stop in and buy one. We aren't fond of icing so we ordered an 8 inch lemon cake without. Wow, soo moist, and flavorful! I love that it was chilled. No topping necessary. The staff was also very kind, and accommodating. Definitely stop in if you are in the area.“
“This was such a great event! I am so impressed with what The Lunch Box offers and how much they have accomplished! I fully intend to make my way back during the day to try some of the food. The samplings that we were offered were so good! My friend and I tried as much as we could and we were so happy to have been able to attend!“
“Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Buffalo. All of the locations are amazing, go above and beyond. Food is always delicious and cooked perfectly. My go to for lunch at work (the salad….are you serious SO YUMMY!) and the dinner. Just do yourself a favor and eat here. I never go out of my way to leave reviews, but I had to for them, I cannot say enough good things!“
“Started going here 60 years ago when I was in grade school across the street. Still owned and operated by the Geles family. Very reasonably priced, old fashion, from scratch, incredibly tasty baked goods. I recommend taking their unique, one of a kind butter bar to parties. The family owned secret filling was created by Mr. Geles. Always a big hit and our family's favorite! They also make great presents! Traditional Polish Chrusciki always available. Pączki available for Pączki (Fat Tuesday) Day/Lent. Cross breads available for your Święconka (blessing of the Easter baskets).“
“We had a division meeting in March and I was tasked with bringing breakfast for the team, all of which were from out of town. I picked up an assortment of 2 dozen pastries and muffins the day before. Everybody loved them, thank you so much!“
“This place was a genuis find for my search for Italian bakeries. If I wouldn't have looked on YELP, would have never known about this bakery. The location isn't where you would think to find a bakery. Located in a former elementary or middle school is where you'll find it. Cute set up, my boyfriend was thrilled that the bakery made cuccidati, lemon cookies and we both loved the orange pecan biscotti, there flavorful, and great for dipping in coffee. Defintly check it out if your in search of authentic Italian cookies, and cascata cakes.“
“thank you so muchh!!! melymel made our absolutely beautiful wedding cake. it was absolutely flawless. they accommodated us after we asked for them to deliver. the cake was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful cupcakes to go along with it. the cake tasted absolutely amazing. would highly suggest“
Overall, they have a nice variety of gluten free options that will keep me coming back.“
“My lox on everything bagel was delicious and fresh. Also it was overflowing with cream cheese and a large cucumber slice that made eating difficult but the flavor was worth it. I've ordered it three times. Mostly dance music plays over the speakers, free WiFi, bus and metro nearby“
“I ordered a “designer” cassata cake for my sons birthday and was impressed with this bakery through every step of the process. They responded to my email very quickly and communicated back and forth without issue. I provided a picture of the cake I wanted and the end product was absolutely perfect. Price was fair as well. And I was so pleased that even though the cake required a lot of frosting and decoration it was not sickly sweet. It tasted just as good as it looked.“
“After eating at a nearby restaurant, I stopped in here with my boys for desserts to go and to browse the showcase. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. There are so many delicious options that it made it so hard to decide. I will definitely be coming back to try more. This is a very cute bakery. Very bright and I enjoyed looking in the very clean showcases.“
“Accidentally stumbled upon this cafe and it was the greatest find ever! The decor is adorable and so welcoming. The coffee rivals Starbucks. Delicious food and amazing bakery. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had.Parking: Parking lot is right in front of entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has ramp along with stairs.“
“This is the best cannoli in buffalo! Shells are always fresh and crunchy filling is amazing! And the toppings are endless she has so many different options. Jamie is the best! And she will work with you and create anything you want! I highly recommend her. Also check out her cannoli cakes here is a personal one she made me.“
“Delicious Pocket Bread, wraps and tortillas! Products à re sold in Top Stores, Niagara Produce and other fine food stores. If you are interested in using bread, wraps or tortillas in your restaurant or food truck give them a call and they'll point you in the right direction.“
“Buffalo Cake Pops did the dessert for my daughter's Target-themed birthday party, and they were a HIT! Not only were they adorable to look at, but all three flavors were absolutely delicious!!! The kids especially loved the doggie pops, and all of the adults went back for seconds. It was so much more convenient than traditional cake: no plates or utensils needed, and easy clean up! We will be ordering from Buffalo Cake Pops again!“
“I visited Forno E Gelato on 3/8/2024 to check out what they had since we were early for our reservation at Frank Primo's next door. The gelato case was well stocked and there were several enticing items in the pastry case. As I asked whether they made Italian almond amaretti cookies, Rachel, the owner came in and we had a pleasant discussion about them, she looked them up on her phone on the spot, and forwarded to the pastry chef for consideration. I recounted my fond memories of visiting my sister in Brooklyn and enjoying almond amaretti, which often entailed extensive negotiations for the last one! Anyway, I purchased pistachio amaretti and Grandma whites cookies for later, and consumed salted caramel gelato (made by Forno E Gelato) at the end of dinner at Franki Primo's. The salted caramel gelato was excellent, with a nice ribbon of caramel through it. It's my favorite flavor, so I have a lot to compare it against. Forno E Gelato's salted caramel was in the top 3 best ones I've ever had (in competition with Siena in Snyder and a place in Italy)! The pistachio amaretti were also excellent with the perfect soft chew and great nutty flavor. Grandma whites cookies were good with a slight anise flavor, and just not a cookie I would normally gravitate to or rave over anyway. I'll definitely be back for the salted caramel gelato, the pistachio amaretti, and (hopefully) some almond amaretti!“
“Delicious. They had a stand set up at mckinley mall and flagged me and some friends down while we were heading the the Girl Scout cookie booth. WAY better than girl scouts! So delicious, homemade taste, and a perfect texture. Definitely check them out. I got the pot o gold cookie and had to stop myself from devouring it in 5 seconds.“
“I can’t say enough about how great our experience was ordering from Fig Tree Patisserie. My kids both have food allergies, and we wanted something special that they could both eat to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We ordered a cake and cupcakes that were dairy, egg, and soy free and they were INCREDIBLE. Not only did they taste amazing, but they were so beautiful and personalized to fit the rainbow theme. Customer service was top notch. We will definitely be returning customers!“
“A family-owned specialty store and bakery with a great selection of teas, nuts, housewares, and other items mostly from Afghanistan. We bought a beautiful handcrafted teapot and immediately went home to eat their freshly baked bread with tea -- delicious! Highly recommend. Shop small, support local.“
“Had a Galentines dinner here with 12 of us. Great options on the specials menu, fresh food, tasty, and the price is right. Some housemade pasta, delish cacciatore with super fresh veggies and sausage, and pastries basically anything you want. Highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner. You'll have leftovers for sure! Yaaay!Vegetarian options: Gluten free and plenty of options for ovo lacto vegetarians for sure.“
“Ordered the Cassata cake, essentially an almond cake filled with Cannoli cream and it was great! The only reservation we had was the buttercream on the side was too dense and maybe they need to make it softer and more palatable ... too much butter maybe ?“
“Very nice people own and work here. They are not only here for their money, they are here for the community.Yummy food. Great prices. Clean kitchen. Happy and fun vibs. If you are anywhere in the hour range make sure to stop by! Enjoy your trip.“
