“This is one of the Tim Horton's on campus at University at Buffalo. It's in Alfiero Center, which is part of the Jacobs Management Center buildings. If you are already on campus, this is a nice option to have for when you need a Tim Horton's. Even so, during the semester lines are LONG and SLOW. The lines are not slow because the staff is particularly slow, it's mainly because they are SOOOO LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG. It's just the nature of the beast, having a Tim Horton's in a busy campus building with no other food options besides vending machines. The menu is the same as any other Tim Horton's, as far as I can tell. Sandwiches and baked goods are what you'd typically find at any Tim's. I work nearby, and usually pack my lunch. But every now and then when I need to buy food, an English muffin for breakfast or a turkey sandwich for lunch is what you expect from a Tim Horton's. One nice little secret--when you BYO-travel mug, a regular coffee refill is under two bucks for any sized mug. My travel mug is much larger than the largest coffee, so I very much appreciate this savings bargain. If you are not already on campus, and it is during an academic semester, never come here. Because the line is already long enough, without you. :-P Go to any other of the glut of Tim Horton's locations (there are at least three within minutes of this one that I can think of, off the top of my head). But if you're on campus, this is a handy option to have when you need it. Just be prepared to wait.“
“One of the best Tim Hortons I've been to.Staff is VERY friendly and helpful, coffee is always hot and fresh. If you run a coffee shop, visit this Timmy's to see how it should run!Dietary restrictions: They are able to take care of most dietary restrictions /allergies.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, kid sized drinks include milk, chocolate milk, juicesWheelchair accessibility: Doors aren't wheelchair friendly, but interior and seating is.“
“Woman who took my order was inviting, welcoming and very helpful. First time to this amazing coffee shop. And definitely won't be my last. Has plenty of different kinds of seating. The decor I love it. Great job on the milk cake it was perfect not too sweet.“
“Very few places nail every part of the experience but this place does. Food was amazing. They mill their own flower in house and you can see them do it. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had. The service was top shelf. They had a line on a busy Saturday morning but they moved it quickly and it never affected the quality of the service“
“We had a wonderful time at Buckminster’s Cat Cafe. The food and coffee is delicious. I love my Calico cafe. These kitties are very sweet and healthy. The coffee shop is clean and well design. I cant stand of buying cute stuffs here. Strongly recommend this place!!! We definitely will visit next time.“
“Great chocolate! Beautiful, display, store and factory. Huge selection. This was an experience. Lots of fun. They've got dining in. Lots of seating. Lokked like a cafe separate but adjacent to the store and factory. TVs, a fireplace. Stunning architecture at the Wurlitzer in North Tonawanda. Plenty of parking. Very well managed. Outstanding service. On top of all that there's beer breweries on both sides of the store. It's really amazing!“
“What a gem this place is! I always seem to be in a hurry when I stop here which is a shame because it's a cute cozy shop I'd love to hang out in.Would recommend even if you're not vegan. Coffee is good and even though I don't normally order milk alternatives (oat milk) I've had delicious lattes there as well. Plus the service is fantastic. Very welcoming place.“
“New York Fuska and Coffee Shop is an absolute gem in the heart of the town. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the tantalizing scent of flavorful fuskas. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The menu boasts a delightful array of fusion flavors, blending traditional New York favorites with international influences. Each dish is expertly crafted with quality ingredients, bursting with taste and creativity. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a quick pick-me-up coffee, this place has it all. The staff are friendly, attentive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. I can’t recommend New York Fuska and Coffee Shop enough – it’s a must-visit for any food lover looking for a memorable dining experience.“
“Overwinter is my favorite spot for coffee in Williamsville! The expresso is delicious, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well-trained. I can always count on getting a consistent cup of coffee. I encourage the owners to keep the space clean and well-maintained so that it doesn't turn into another dingy coffee chain (that's one of the reasons Overwinter became so attractive to me as a working professional in the beginning.) Overall, I highly recommend!“
“Really nice selection of non-coffee drinks in addition to the regular coffee house selections. There is something different though about the hot chocolate and mocha drinks that my friends and I can't put our finger on but people must like it but I haven't ordered that again. Really good plain old House (drip) Coffee. Awesome sandwiches too.Parking: If Webster Street parking is difficult from an event at the Riviera Theater then parking around the corner on Manhattan Street behind the building. A great addition to Webster Street.“
“We were in the area for an appointment and saw Jack's on the corner. Checked out the menu and took a chance. We were so happy that we did! What an amazing find! Amazing people, atmosphere and food. The food...was so good. Totally unexpected flavors. We got the Black bean burger and the RR rice bowl. We actually asked for the recipe on both. Pico de gallo super fresh and elevated throughout the dish! A definite revisit for sure! Loved also the funny and quirky sayings around the restaurant. Just a really fun place, a good energy/vibe with superior quality of dishes.“
“Best. Truffles. Ever. Cherry cordials are delish and sponge candy is on point as well. Orange chocolate miniatures are delightful. Visit their ice cream shop if they're open on your visit, too! The truffles, cordials, and orange chocolates are a Michelin star experience!! I always buy chocolates from here whenever I visit home and request them for birthday and Christmas gifts!!“
“A great little hidden gem. I ordered a Greek chicken salad for lunch and it was excellent. It had the perfect combination of cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, onions, and a generous portion of chicken. My wife ordered an omelette with micro greens, and it was also outstanding, the house with free refills for an extra two dollars was also great! So many times you go to a breakfast place or a bakery and the coffee is terrible. This coffee had some real flavor to it. I will definitely be back.“
“When you enter the first thought is WOW. This place looks amazing! You get to the front and you’re greeted by big easy to read menus on the wall, all the food is out steaming hot. Speaking of the food it’s absolutely delicious. The pulled beef and chicken is the perfect consistency, the rice is perfectly cooked, the hot sauce (I got a buffalo bowl) is just enough to burn and spice it up but not over powering. Also tried a peanut butter protein smoothie and all together it made for an incredibly filling meal. Finally service. Michael Khoury, the owner, was incredible. Everything was served and paid for quickly. Honest to god one of the best meals I’ve had in a LONG time. I can’t really say anything else, this place just checks everything off. Do it, you won’t regret it.“
“The place is actually fantastic, they have some really creative food that's mostly all sourced locally and fresh.. the employees are really friendly and down to earth and certainly don't rush you or act like you're bothering them.. everything I ordered was delicious. I'll definitely be returning.. if you've gone by this place and weren't sure if you'd like it you should give it a try I'm pretty sure that you'll find it's worth it.. just be aware that on the weekends it gets really busy.... I guess I was the last to know about this place ?“
“You ever witness someone harassing a service worker and just know they’re going to come on here and give an awful review? I witnessed the exchange noted today, and a few key details seem to be missed. Firstly, it should be noted this locally owned business is run by only two people. The woman taking orders is also the barista making specialty drinks not just pouring coffee, and the other gentleman is making all of the food fresh to order. Is she the warmest soul I’ve ever encountered? No. But she is efficient and knowledged and working her butt off.The entire group of 5 proceeded to gang up on her and shout things across the very small space after the woman working tried to defend herself and implored them to remember she’s a human being and they continued to bully her. Even then, she proceeded to serve them their food with a kind disposition even though I’m sure she was feeling defeated. All of that aside, for a real review, the food was so good I went two days in a row. Coffee was hot and delicious. Lots of options for any dietary restrictions. A great little spot.“
“(This review is for the Buffalo, NY location) Read about this new Yemeni coffeeshop opening up and wanted to check it out. It was a nice space with a decent amount of seating inside wrapped around the counter. Smelled delightful with all the blends of coffee and teas inside too! Since I’m not a big coffee drinker, I got a tea instead, specifically the Adeni Chai. It was a black tea mix with cardamom and nutmeg, which was something different for me, but I enjoyed. The main thing I came for was this treat that they called Honeycomb, which is a traditional Yemeni pastry. It was filled with cream cheese and had honey drizzled on top. They break apart into these little balls and it was so yummy. Definitely recommend checking this out if nothing else. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed sitting in the shop and doing some quality people watching while I enjoyed my tea. Got a couple treats to-go as well, so I’ll have to update this review after I have those.“
“Cute, and a perfect stop in on a rainy day. I got a hot cup of chai latte to go. It was quick and the people were so pleasant. Will be stopping back in on my next visit into town. Maybe it will be sunny and the patio will be the place to be.“
“I think this may be my favorite dinner I've ever visited in Buffalo. We arrived around 2:15 pm, and they close at 3 pm, so clearly they aim more for the breakfast to lunch crowd, because the place was empty except us. They offer little donut bits as appetizers, which was a new one on me. Good stuff, too. Apparently all their food is made on premises, including the donuts. The staff (owners I think?) were super friendly & accommodating. The space is comfortable without being run-down, nice without being stuffy. There's also a covered outdoor area, but it was too muggy out today so we stayed inside where it was cooler. The music was just classic rock, and was very background, to the extent that it doesn't impede a conversation, so basically perfect. Mum got the tuna melt, was very satisfied, and I had the veggie skillet with pepper jack, which was tremendous. When asked what kind of cheese, there were 6 options (cheddar, provolone, and so on), so I said "surprise me" because they all sounded good. She narrowed it down: "white, orange, or weird," so I said, naturally, "weird." Which is how I got the excellent pepper jack (which she picked instead of feta, the other weird option). It was also noted that they're very open to mixing up menu items, and that they try to make the specials relevant to area events, like the Italian sausage being available during the recent Italian festival. Also great, the prices were *so* reasonable: the bill only came to $25 & some change, which means $30 for the two of us, which is a really good price for how good everything was, & the charming atmosphere. The location is a little out of my usual range, but I'll definitely have to make special effort to hit them up again in the future. Love it!“
“coffee served at the right temperature, so i dont scald my mouth :) they have a little self-serving to add cinnamon and simple sugar in your little drinks :) everyting in there is under 6 bucks unless its like that one spicy drink? havent tried it but it looks enticing“
“This place has the opportunity to be way better and way cooler than it is. Don’t order the breakfast sandwich, they microwave them. The pastry’s are excellent and the coffee is good, and the service is great. But they should have more jam band decorations and have more board games and AN ACTUAL COOK making sandwiches. Great spot with good coffee and pastries but that’s it“
“I can not say enough about Fairy Cakes Cupcakery! They created the most beautiful dessert table and adorable teddy bear cookie favors for my daughter’s baby shower! They are great to work with and do everything to ensure you are 100% delighted with your treats! Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful, and how tasty, every single dessert was! Thank you so much!!“
“My lox on everything bagel was delicious and fresh. Also it was overflowing with cream cheese and a large cucumber slice that made eating difficult but the flavor was worth it. I've ordered it three times. Mostly dance music plays over the speakers, free WiFi, bus and metro nearby“
“The food was good, but not as good as I'd hoped. Friendly service, clean, fairly quick, good menu options. It was a little crowded and noisy. Might go again, might not - I can't say there was anything bad, I just didn't love it. Hate to leave a 3 star review because reviews tend to be inflated I think- again, nothing against this place whatsoever. It was okay.“
“Some of the best specialty coffee I've had. Ever! This small cafe delivered fresh coffee in a variety of drinks. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about coffee and I had such a great conversation discussing steaming milk when I came.“
“Decided to get serious with my coffee habit and quit using sub-par supermarket coffee. Searched all of Buffalo for a quality coffee roaster and decided to try this place first based on reviews -- and I'm glad I did. Picked up a bag of Hawaiian Kona and one of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and both are OUTSTANDING. This is a rare gem on the east side of Buffalo I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is serious about coffee.“
“During a very difficult time for our family, Tracy and Jess went above and beyond to provide a beautiful breakfast tray of sandwiches with both regular and gluten free bread, bagels, cream cheese and more. The recipients all commented on how delicious everything was and how much they appreciated breakfast. More than anything, their care and compassion will not be forgotten. Thank you so much!“
“I got a Philadelphia roll which comes with 10 pieces and regular tiger boba tea for about $15. The tea was so good it was like a dirty milk tea but with salted caramel and some foam on top the presentation of the drink was beautiful and same with the food! Will be coming here a lot!“
“I LOVE this place! Every time I go in there they treat me like I'm their best friend - even though initially I didn't know any of them. I don't know who raised these polite, friendly young people, but they give me hope for the current generation! Also the location is quaint and the food is delicious, with generous portions. (Although I do miss the couch, which for some unknown reason was transferred to the apparently preferred Larkin Square location. ??)“
“This place was super cute! The food was done so quickly and was done correctly. The girl working the cash register was extremely helpful when I was asking questions and all the employees were happy. Definitely a nice little spot and had lots of seating.“
“While I'm sharing where I'm planning on checking out, forgot to mention this wonderful gem of a place! I just stopped in to look around (It looked so inviting and cozy through the windows) and learned so much about tea I never knew! Like YES! There really is a science behind how each type of tea is brewed and why!!! The owner was extremely knowledgeable and I was like a kid in a candy store! Besides the teas they also have a great selection of tea pots ( the decor atmosphere and service was phenomenal before I forget!) Honeys Sugars candles tea accessories and more! I grabbed a bunch of different kinds of tea for my cousin in Las Vegas to try and he's been raving about them! I also tried the ? ??? and hibiscus sugar! I stopped in today and grabbed some of the ginger ? ☕ and if you know anything you know I love my ginger!!! Definitely happy with my selection!!!!! And will be there quite often!!! Who knew The Village of Williamsburg had such a hidden treasure?“
“Atmosphere is amazing, I could sit here forever and talk with everyone. Torey is the ultimate hype queen! Joined run club through the shop and torey and starting to run Torey again. I drink a protein shake every day and it tastes amazing!!!“
“This Starbucks location never fails, the service is always fantastic and the consistency of the drinks never fail.I went this morning, and most the baristas already remember my name and drink order, most the time I just walk up to the counter and they know what I want! Just goes to show how much care goes into the service!Management must be fantastic, store always looks good and the baristas work hard!“
“This is a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and homemade food. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you go home smelling like cooking. The dining room is so comfortable and a real home town country feel. They are very popular and for good reasons.“
“Best whole bean coffee selection in town! I discovered my favorite coffee (ever) at Blue Mountain (and I’m a coffee snob). The owner and staff are always very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy visiting whether I’m shopping for coffee or a nice gift for someone. Elmwood is fortunate to have BMC&T in the lineup!“
“Came here after having a meal next door at Anchi. There was a good amount of people walking in and out of the cafe, so I thought I might as well take a visit. Upon walking in, there's a list of drink options they have the base of milk tea or fruit tea - whether you want a regular tea or smoothie form as well. I really liked the high number of options (compared to spots I've been to in Toronto it's usually a typical menu). They also had a few new additions and employee recommendations. Mango Smoothie: I decided to go for a mango smoothie since it's a safe option. Pretty big size portion, more than enough for what I was looking for. It was exactly what I expected from a mango smoothie. Lots of seating and a very chill spot to go with friends. The cafe also had some board games too. They were pretty quick with their service. I certainly see why it's a busy spot for locals here!“
“I highly recommend you try their coffee. Everyday, they have several earns and they sell a cup of coffee for $1. My favorite is Michigan. They will grind the beans for you right there. They also sell pastries which are out of this world. There is a back room where you can sit and drink your coffee. Watch TV, they also sell painted rocks kind of cool.“
“I love Spot coffee! They have a good selection of drinks, a bakery case, and food made to order. I recently came in the morning with a group of people and we had no problem finding a table. I ordered a coffee and Mikes Special on wheat focaccia which was filling and delicious. My sandwich was made to order but still came out fairly quick. Restaurant was clean and the staff members were professional and nice. Highly recommend!“
“The tea is amazing first time going and the worker was more than happy to explain and recommend some items. The flavor of this boba is nothing like I’ve ever had he wasn’t lying when he said you will tell the difference between us and other places. Definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be back. I got the mago and passion fruit boba drink and my fiancé got the strawberry sorbet with blueberry boba.“
“I've been here before but recently started coming here every Sunday afternoon as my go-to spot. For one they charge fair prices for coffee. I'm a simple woman, I always order a small black iced coffee with simple syrup and love that the coffee remains strong with ice in it. It's at a great location, the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It's always clean, the prices are great. The last thing I really, really appreciate is the choice of music and that it is never too loud. Nothing more annoying then not being able to hear your own thoughts in a coffee shop. lol Thank you for a pleasant experience. :)“
“Move over Starbs and Timmy's, there's a new coffee king in town!My partner and I loveeeee New Day Coffee! From their wide variety of flavors to their easy check out and expedited shipping. No lie - our shipment arrived faster than Amazon prime. We ordered Sunday night (for the 2nd time), and it was delivered yesterday. We love the fall flavors, especially the apple cinnamon French toast; that's our favorite. But eager to try the rest. 10/10“
“A must try!!! Just stopped in because we searched local cafes - best decision!! I had the jalapeño cheese bagel and my nephew had the everything bagel. Both toasted with cream cheese. They were so soft and flavorful. I also had a cup of coffee. Everything was an AMAZING price. Staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back.“
“This is one of our preferred coffee shops in Williamsville. My girlfriend and I love to stop here whether it’s just for a coffee to go, or gladly stay inside if we have time for lunch! Pretty much everything is good, the iced coffee especially. I really enjoy their pizzas too. Certainly not my first time here and definitely will not be the last! Would rather stop here than Tim’s any day of the week“
“What a great way to end the night! Idk if she was the manager or the owner but she greeted us with a smile and served up some wonderful cocktails! We got a chance to witness the open mic no mic performances and the vibe was super chill. Looking forward to the next time! Cheers!“
“Really great desserts! Definitely get one of the waffle sundaes because the Belgian waffles are amazing. I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the advertising but it surpassed all expectations. Jack, our server, was also terrific.PS These desserts are the size of meals. We were happy we went in hungry and not after eating a meal first!“
“the interior always gets me. It's so cute and colorful for a post dinner dessert. Their portion sizes are fair but pricey !! Which i think is attributed to the unique toppings and high quality soft serve :)) the big one is def worth if you can finish it in terms of size. It's never too crowded here which is nice (and surprising). It's right connected to lloyd so I'm tempted every time lol.“
“I have tried many menu items. this place has fantastic roasted coffee, unique and quality special drinks during holidays. Food items are very Buffalo and delicious. The staff has always been kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. If I'm in the area, its a must stop for me. Keep up the great work and seeya soon.“
“consists of Espresso & chocolate shake with whipped cream. Then a Cajun Turkey wrap with Roasted turkey, bacon, pepper-jack cheese, Cajun remoulade, mixed greens, and sliced tomato with a spinach tortilla Then the Cinco Shake consisting of Espresso, white chocolate, caramel vanilla shake with whipped cream. The Mocha shake had a strong coffee flavor and was well executed! Loved it! The Cajun Turkey wrap was so good! Bursting with flavor and spice! I really enjoyed it and got it with chips instead of a salad. The Cinco shake was the best ! Reminded me of a Frappuccino shake thing. I'll def order again when I can. Service was quick! Workers were very kind and respectful! I gave out tips since they enhanced my service and experienced. Atmosphere was comfortable tho there were quite a bit of people there. It's expected since it is a hangout and students can get work done on their computers and charge them with outlets. Will come again! Thank u! Oof forgot about the smores bar thing it's like a cereal bar thing. Its okay but not as.sweet as it looks“
“I was staying at the Westin in Buffalo and was pleasantly surprised by their café in the lobby! Probably one of the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Another review had mentioned their coffee - it's fantastic! Service was fast and friendly and the café was very clean. Will definitely make it a point to stop here again the next time I'm in town.“
“Good coffee but they need better deals. McDonalds across the street does 1.79 Large Ice Coffee. Capitalism means competing not living in price denial and charging $3 for the same product. You'd think Tim Hortons would be more aware that they are losing a price war and profit as coffee costs 50 cents a cup with labor included.“
