“Good coffee but they need better deals. McDonalds across the street does 1.79 Large Ice Coffee. Capitalism means competing not living in price denial and charging $3 for the same product. You'd think Tim Hortons would be more aware that they are losing a price war and profit as coffee costs 50 cents a cup with labor included.“

“This is one of the Tim Horton's on campus at University at Buffalo. It's in Alfiero Center, which is part of the Jacobs Management Center buildings. If you are already on campus, this is a nice option to have for when you need a Tim Horton's. Even so, during the semester lines are LONG and SLOW. The lines are not slow because the staff is particularly slow, it's mainly because they are SOOOO LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG. It's just the nature of the beast, having a Tim Horton's in a busy campus building with no other food options besides vending machines. The menu is the same as any other Tim Horton's, as far as I can tell. Sandwiches and baked goods are what you'd typically find at any Tim's. I work nearby, and usually pack my lunch. But every now and then when I need to buy food, an English muffin for breakfast or a turkey sandwich for lunch is what you expect from a Tim Horton's. One nice little secret--when you BYO-travel mug, a regular coffee refill is under two bucks for any sized mug. My travel mug is much larger than the largest coffee, so I very much appreciate this savings bargain. If you are not already on campus, and it is during an academic semester, never come here. Because the line is already long enough, without you. :-P Go to any other of the glut of Tim Horton's locations (there are at least three within minutes of this one that I can think of, off the top of my head). But if you're on campus, this is a handy option to have when you need it. Just be prepared to wait.“

Outstanding service. On top of all that there's beer breweries on both sides of the store. It's really amazing!“

“Overwinter is my favorite spot for coffee in Williamsville! The expresso is delicious, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well-trained. I can always count on getting a consistent cup of coffee. I encourage the owners to keep the space clean and well-maintained so that it doesn't turn into another dingy coffee chain (that's one of the reasons Overwinter became so attractive to me as a working professional in the beginning.) “Really nice selection of non-coffee drinks in addition to the regular coffee house selections. There is something different though about the hot chocolate and mocha drinks that my friends and I can't put our finger on but people must like it but I haven't ordered that again. Really good plain old House (drip) Coffee. Awesome sandwiches too.Parking: If Webster Street parking is difficult from an event at the Riviera Theater then parking around the corner on Manhattan Street behind the building. “We were in the area for an appointment and saw Jack's on the corner. Checked out the menu and took a chance. We were so happy that we did!What an amazing find! Amazing people, atmosphere and food. The food...was so good. Totally unexpected flavors. We got the Black bean burger and the RR rice bowl. We actually asked for the recipe on both. Pico de gallo super fresh and elevated throughout the dish! A definite revisit for sure! Loved also the funny and quirky sayings around the restaurant. “Best. Truffles. Ever. Cherry cordials are delish and sponge candy is on point as well. Orange chocolate miniatures are delightful. Visit their ice cream shop if they're open on your visit, too! “A great little hidden gem. I ordered a Greek chicken salad for lunch and it was excellent. It had the perfect combination of cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, onions, and a generous portion of chicken. My wife ordered an omelette with micro greens, and it was also outstanding, the house with free refills for an extra two dollars was also great! So many times you go to a breakfast place or a bakery and the coffee is terrible. This coffee had some real flavor to it. I will definitely be back.“

“When you enter the first thought is WOW. This place looks amazing! You get to the front and you’re greeted by big easy to read menus on the wall, all the food is out steaming hot. Speaking of the food it’s absolutely delicious. The pulled beef and chicken is the perfect consistency, the rice is perfectly cooked, the hot sauce (I got a buffalo bowl) is just enough to burn and spice it up but not over powering. Also tried a peanut butter protein smoothie and all together it made for an incredibly filling meal.Finally service. Michael Khoury, the owner, was incredible. Everything was served and paid for quickly. Honest to god one of the best meals I’ve had in a LONG time. I can’t really say anything else, this place just checks everything off. Do it, you won’t regret it.“

“The place is actually fantastic, they have some really creative food that's mostly all sourced locally and fresh.. the employees are really friendly and down to earth and certainly don't rush you or act like you're bothering them.. everything I ordered was delicious. I'll definitely be returning.. if you've gone by this place and weren't sure if you'd like it you should give it a try I'm pretty sure that you'll find it's worth it.. just be aware that on the weekends it gets really busy.... “You ever witness someone harassing a service worker and just know they’re going to come on here and give an awful review? I witnessed the exchange noted today, and a few key details seem to be missed. Firstly, it should be noted this locally owned business is run by only two people. The woman taking orders is also the barista making specialty drinks not just pouring coffee, and the other gentleman is making all of the food fresh to order. Is she the warmest soul I’ve ever encountered? No. But she is efficient and knowledged and working her butt off.The entire group of 5 proceeded to gang up on her and shout things across the very small space after the woman working tried to defend herself and implored them to remember she’s a human being and they continued to bully her. Even then, she proceeded to serve them their food with a kind disposition even though I’m sure she was feeling defeated.All of that aside, for a real review, the food was so good I went two days in a row. Coffee was hot and delicious. Lots of options for any dietary restrictions. A great little spot.“

“(This review is for the Buffalo, NY location) Read about this new Yemeni coffeeshop opening up and wanted to check it out. It was a nice space with a decent amount of seating inside wrapped around the counter. Smelled delightful with all the blends of coffee and teas inside too! Since I’m not a big coffee drinker, I got a tea instead, specifically the Adeni Chai. It was a black tea mix with cardamom and nutmeg, which was something different for me, but I enjoyed. The main thing I came for was this treat that they called Honeycomb, which is a traditional Yemeni pastry. It was filled with cream cheese and had honey drizzled on top. They break apart into these little balls and it was so yummy. Definitely recommend checking this out if nothing else. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed sitting in the shop and doing some quality people watching while I enjoyed my tea. Got a couple treats to-go as well, so I’ll have to update this review after I have those.“

“I think this may be my favorite dinner I've ever visited in Buffalo. We arrived around 2:15 pm, and they close at 3 pm, so clearly they aim more for the breakfast to lunch crowd, because the place was empty except us. They offer little donut bits as appetizers, which was a new one on me. Good stuff, too. Apparently all their food is made on premises, including the donuts. The staff (owners I think?) were super friendly & accommodating. The space is comfortable without being run-down, nice without being stuffy. There's also a covered outdoor area, but it was too muggy out today so we stayed inside where it was cooler. The music was just classic rock, and was very background, to the extent that it doesn't impede a conversation, so basically perfect. Mum got the tuna melt, was very satisfied, and I had the veggie skillet with pepper jack, which was tremendous. When asked what kind of cheese, there were 6 options (cheddar, provolone, and so on), so I said "surprise me" because they all sounded good. She narrowed it down: "white, orange, or weird," so I said, naturally, "weird." Which is how I got the excellent pepper jack (which she picked instead of feta, the other weird option). It was also noted that they're very open to mixing up menu items, and that they try to make the specials relevant to area events, like the Italian sausage being available during the recent Italian festival. Also great, the prices were *so* reasonable: the bill only came to $25 & some change, which means $30 for the two of us, which is a really good price for how good everything was, & the charming atmosphere. The location is a little out of my usual range, but I'll definitely have to make special effort to hit them up again in the future. Love it!“

“This place has the opportunity to be way better and way cooler than it is. Don’t order the breakfast sandwich, they microwave them. The pastry’s are excellent and the coffee is good, and the service is great. But they should have more jam band decorations and have more board games and AN ACTUAL COOK making sandwiches. Searched all of Buffalo for a quality coffee roaster and decided to try this place first based on reviews -- and I'm glad I did. Picked up a bag of Hawaiian Kona and one of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and both are OUTSTANDING. This is a rare gem on the east side of Buffalo I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is serious about coffee.“

“I got a Philadelphia roll which comes with 10 pieces and regular tiger boba tea for about $15. The tea was so good it was like a dirty milk tea but with salted caramel and some foam on top the presentation of the drink was beautiful and same with the food! Will be coming here a lot!“

“Came here after having a meal next door at Anchi. There was a good amount of people walking in and out of the cafe, so I thought I might as well take a visit. Upon walking in, there's a list of drink options they have the base of milk tea or fruit tea - whether you want a regular tea or smoothie form as well. I really liked the high number of options (compared to spots I've been to in Toronto it's usually a typical menu). They also had a few new additions and employee recommendations. Mango Smoothie: I decided to go for a mango smoothie since it's a safe option. Pretty big size portion, more than enough for what I was looking for. It was exactly what I expected from a mango smoothie. Lots of seating and a very chill spot to go with friends. The cafe also had some board games too. They were pretty quick with their service. I certainly see why it's a busy spot for locals here!“

“I highly recommend you try their coffee. Everyday, they have several earns and they sell a cup of coffee for $1. My favorite is Michigan. They will grind the beans for you right there. They also sell pastries which are out of this world. There is a back room where you can sit and drink your coffee. Watch TV, they also sell painted rocks kind of cool.“

“I love Spot coffee! They have a good selection of drinks, a bakery case, and food made to order. I recently came in the morning with a group of people and we had no problem finding a table. “I've been here before but recently started coming here every Sunday afternoon as my go-to spot. For one they charge fair prices for coffee. I'm a simple woman, I always order a small black iced coffee with simple syrup and love that the coffee remains strong with ice in it. It's at a great location, the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It's always clean, the prices are great. The last thing I really, really appreciate is the choice of music and that it is never too loud. Nothing more annoying then not being able to hear your own thoughts in a coffee shop. lol Thank you for a pleasant experience. :)“

Then a Cajun Turkey wrap with Roasted turkey, bacon, pepper-jack cheese, Cajun remoulade, mixed greens, and sliced tomato with a spinach tortilla Then the Cinco Shake consisting of Espresso, white chocolate, caramel vanilla shake with whipped cream. The Mocha shake had a strong coffee flavor and was well executed! Loved it! The Cajun Turkey wrap was so good! Bursting with flavor and spice!
