“I've been here before. They serve a great smoked meat sandwich is 5 stars. Nice atmosphere and good service. This time though I tried the Burger with fried onions, mushrooms and cheese. Unfortunately it was a just a bit over cooked, I believe, because the juices in the Berger where practically gone, aka a bit dry. I asked the waitress for some mayo, which helped. My friend had the club sandwich and thought, perhaps it could use a bit more mayo (but didn't add any). Maybe it just needed to be spread more evenly? Anyhoot, the meal was great, and I highly recommend this quaint pub. We sit on the booth side where it's quieter. I also park on the next Street over, though the parking lot wasn't full. Finally, the place is wheelchair accessible with functional button at the front doors. But beware, the washroom, though it's handicap/wheelchair accessible, there's no button to open the door, so you might need to ask for a hand or not for that one.“

From the warm atmosphere to the delicious food, it was an all-around wonderful evening. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service — particularly from the manager. He was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect at our table and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. It’s rare to see that level of care and hospitality, and it made a big difference. The staff overall were friendly and efficient, the food came out hot and fresh, and the environment was clean and comfortable. I truly felt valued as a guest. “I had a fabulous time at somewhere dine bar with a friend visiting from Vancouver. It was my first time, but will definitely be back. Our server Ashley (?) was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. We were there for happy hour so cocktails were $11. My friend had the El Londo and the Guava Rush. I do not drink yet was able to enjoy virgin versions of the Mango Tango and the Guava Rush. Drinks were creative and tasty and it was great they had fun mocktails. For food we shared several small plates and everything was quite tasty. Our favourite was the Truffle Tuna Crudo. It was so yummy we ordered a second one. Our second favourite was the Wagyu Dumplings. Delicious. As noted, I will be back. I would definitely recommend somewhere dine bar.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Harvey’s, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. I especially loved their signature burgers — cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings. The fries were crispy, and their selection of drinks was great too.

The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

“Had a great meal. Elevated smoke meat on rye with fries. Yummy garlic aelio, mayo, and ketchup to dip into. So good and fries were perfect. My wife had the Mediterranean grain rice bowl with parmesan, kale, Arugula and roasted tomatoes. Also delicious. Service was excellent and price was fair. Nice relaxed casual atmosphere. “This restaurant is a gem, especially for weekend brunch. As a local permanent makeup artist with a studio downtown this is my favourite place to grab a full slow-food breakfast before my first client arrives. The table settings are luxury class with white linens and proper settings. The variety and quality of food is excellent. I imagine that travellers staying in the hotel would have an excellent experience. Having tried other hotel restaurants in the downtown core I can say that the Carleton Grill is competing very well.“

“While staying at the Courtyard by Marriott and seeing good reviews of the Bistro, we came here on the last day for breakfast.The food was overall ok. The flatbread was especially great. The burrito was a bit tough (the tortilla was a bit over toasted/grilled).In the photos I’m also showing the normal French toast vs. the kids menu French toast.The service was great. Staff was friendly.The restaurant is open concept located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel seating area.Overall a good choice for breakfast.
