“This was our first visit back since new management came in. We were very impressed with how warm and inviting the team was and their attention to detail. We had the lemon ricotta sourdough starter, still amazing, as were the mushroom dumplings and the BN Salad! We also share the Basque Cheesecake which was extraordinary and made in house, as all their food is. It was a lovely date night location and we look forward to visiting again!“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

“Saturday night was my first visit to HD and I have to say I was impressed. As a person who has known Dave for many years he has hit a home run here. The clientele, vibe and the service were exceptional. I don't drink anymore and the staff quickly pivoted to non alcohol options and even had booze-less Tequila. Will be back very soon“

“We got married last night , we went here for breakfast the next day and it was AWESOME 😎. The service was excellent,the gentleman was very friendly and got us two very delicious coffees , great menu , I got the big breakfast and Melissa got a an omelette. Both came with perfectly crisped tater tots ,Melissa’s omelette was perfectly seasoned . My sausages were delicious and her bacon was perfect, both breakfasts were EXCELLENT. But the service was very personal and very comfortable, the entire experience was really enjoyable. I would highly recommend going here it’s a really great restaurant/diner.“

“First visit to Beasley House early on a Saturday evening. Wasn't at all busy, server was pleasant, food was very good and reasonably priced. Not a huge selection of drinks (only one red wine!?) and apparently no daily menu specials.We were a little annoyed by the fact that there were renovations going on in the adjoining apartment and the workers felt it was okay to have their saw going while patrons were trying to eat and visit...not cool guys, you had all day to work now knock it off and let the paying customers enjoy their dinner.Overall though, nice dinner.“

“it was mine and my girlfriends first time at a moxies restaurant. We had delicious food, it was a great atmosphere and music, and also had a great server named Ryan. One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. It showed that he cared about our experience and made it very pleasurable. His customer service was number 1.“

“Kayla runs a tight ship. She seems to treat her employees well and the people working there seem to be happy.

Service is good (if sometimes a touch slow), the staff are incredibly nice, and people seem happy to be working there. That's a very good sign in the service industry and I hope The Cellar stays under the current management for a long time.“

“We had travelled from Toronto for a beautiful date at a new restaurant try.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a nice laid back upscale vibe, great choice of music to tie it all together.

The 4 dishes we tried included the Chicken Liver Brulee (signature dish), Beet Salad, Thai Stuffed Wings & Trout Marie Katherine. All the fishes were mind blowing with the different layers of flavor and contrast of texture.

The service was below subpar as it was mentioned that I had a lactose sensitivity but most dishes still had a dairy in them as the server mentioned the chef can make alternative substitutes. Also, we asked the server if we could get some extra bread and 10 minutes passed and nothing came out. So we reminded him again, it came out buttered and toasted sadly.

“This was our first time at the Edgewater and the service and food were great. We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and each had an appetizer, main and dessert. Each dish was amazing and definitely felt like we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back again!“

“Went here for my Birthday dinner with my husband and the kids and we had the greatest time. This was my second time but first for food. The ambiance is so comforting and cozy I felt right at home. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. The food was very tasty and the kids chicken nuggets actually tasted real. Portion sizes were great, not to mention the prices were decent too. Kids got 1/2 off because it was a Sunday. Im glad we have this place so close.“
