“The place looks clean, but the experience was disappointing.
The employee told me there was only one size available, conveniently the large. However, when I looked at the menu myself, I clearly saw a medium listed. When I questioned him about it, he initially insisted there was only one size, which felt like an attempt to upsell rather than be honest.
After that whole interaction, my order was still made incorrectly, which added to the frustration. Overall, it felt careless and misleading.
My advice: read the menu carefully and don’t rely on what you’re told.

“What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We love to support this family owned restaurant, they are always wonderful and pleasant to deal with. The pricing is reasonable and worth it. The Williams Ancaster ❤️“

“Really surprised at how well they dealt with gf/dietary issues. We did take out and when it got to the house we called to clarify and to make sure that the falafel were done in a separate fryer which they were. We also got a call back and a staff walked us through the whole order which was excellent. Everything was tasty, the portions were large. The hummus was very authentic. My only complaint would be the that the falafel were too fried so they hollowed out inside. Still very nice as a gf meal with lots of selection.“

“Fantastic food and great service. Ordered takeout on a whim while visiting from out of town and staying across the street. Some of the best lentil soup I’ve ever had! Loved that it was puréed.
Everything was fresh and delicious, and was ready quite fast. The portions were huge so we had a lot of leftovers to enjoy. If we are in the area we’ll be back!“
