“I can’t say enough about how amazing the service was today at August 8 Upper James! From the moment we walked in, we had such a great experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Carolyn, the manager. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire visit.

The food was also amazing! Everything came out fresh, beautifully prepared, and tasted delicious. We had a variety of sushi, including salmon and shrimp, and everything was so good.

Stir fried rice was nice side dish for the protein, but not a lot of seasoning on the rice for that reason. Then they cook the scallops, lobster, chicken and steak right in front of you. “I honestly love this spot. There’s this Asian lady who was absolutely kind to me. For I never had sushi Before and she helped me to pick the boat one. She made it delicious honestly heaven on earth it’s sooooo delicious. I dream about going every month when I have the money to get sushi. She made it super fresh and yummy and delicious. I’m team sushi. She needs a raise. She deserves it. Oh and the green stuff is not guacamole it’s wasabi lol“
