“We arrived at 5pm ish on Friday, a number of customers in line. Staff arrived at the line up with sample beers & indicated we would be seated shortly. Indeed we were ..by 10 minutes and seated. 1st impression a 10. We had a number of staff engage us immediately with food and drink menus, specials and favorites. 2nd impression a 10. Our drinks arrived immediately, food ordered and landed on our table within 15 mins. The food was excellent and our server returned to the table numerous times to inquire about our meals & drink, a 10. The restaurant has 2 levels and all tables were full & a small line waiting tasting their samples and smiling. Great experience, highly recommended!“

“I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing. Deffo recommended! (Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the dishes, my phone was near dead and I needed it to pay as I forgot my purse but they then charged my phone for me!!)“

“Met up with two friends on a Tuesday evening at The Royal Oak in Stittsville. First time here. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had the cheeseburger on a gluten-friendly bun with fries (the server advised me that although the fries did not have a coating, there could be cross contamination in the fryer). Did not suffer any ill-effects. Other gluten-friendly options are available on the menu. Would happily return here for another meal!“

Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options like wraps, burgers, flatbreads, salads including a nice Buddha bowl, and sometimes a curry like channa masala.“

“This was our first time to eat in this lovely restaurant and we just loved it! The place is so clean and inviting with their decor. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the best selection of menus we've ever seen! Everything is freshly cooked to perfection and also very healthy portions! The service was so friendly and speedy too! It will no doubt be one of our favourite places to dine out and can't wait to go back. “Pub Only - Sheila, Marie & Ophelia served us, they are sweet and attentive, great service.
We ordered the Sangria and Greek Dip.
The Sangria was delicious, it was the best Sangria I had all summer!!! I can’t wait to have it again, get the pitcher. The Greek dip was simple fresh and yummy.
Later we ordered the bruschetta lacked flavour i would skip it.
The location is great with lots of outdoor seating, on a Sunday evening it was surprisingly empty.
Reasonable prices, I will be back.“
