“Great spot for karaoke. Lots of participants. If you're from the Ontario side, expect lots of fun french songs.
Service could be faster, but it's mostly because the bar tender is also a performer and is well loved by all the regulars. So ya. You may have to wait an extra couple minutes.

“We LOVED IT. Stopped in yesterday… the wind was whipping, wicked, brutal… and when we couldn’t shake the chill, we wandered in. HEAT! It was warm! Welcoming! The soup which was potatoes leek was absolutely delicious. The warmed bread was exactly the right temperature, hot, buttery and right out of the oven. Our Guinness was delicious. Consistent. My spouse has the chicken pot pie every time, and it as good this year as last, and the year before.

I had my parents with us one, ordered the shared plates. We all loved it.

“I’ve been working in restaurants for awhile and was thrown off on the dynamic of this place on my visit. I’ll start by saying the vibes here are great and they have a great beer selection, over 20 beers on tap.
We drank at a table in the bigger room and had one drink before looking to move to the bar. Our server was very intense on making us pay our $12 tabs before moving. We then said we would get our next drink at the bar. She brought over another round of drinks before we even finished half our first ones and bills at the same time. Don’t know how badly she needed the tip but better to not rush people new drinks just for them to get warm.
Bartender with the mullet was chill though, he had some good beer recs.“

“Food is pretty alright. My mileage varies for what exactly I like to eat here(you have to follow the seasonal menu). Cocktails are pretty fun - I personally like the ones where they add candy to the mix haha

I think there has only been one time where service was slow, but she luckily put it on the house since I had to go upstairs (I was seated in the basement with my friends) and grab her attention.

Fortunately, the games are pretty well organized and well-kept; I think every game I've played with my friends has had its pieces mostly in tact.
I also enjoyed the video gaming experience; nitpick: the games have no sound. Not a huge dealbreaker(especially since game sound might negatively add to the pub's noise levels) but just something to know.
Washrooms are great - I believe they are mostly gender neutral? Otherwise, they are at least well cleaned.“
