“Everything was good, but I ordered a Steak and Mushroom pie but was served a chicken pie. The excellent waitress apologized and since I had to try the pie to see it was wrond, told me to eat what I wanted of it and she gave me a Steak pie with a new side to go. The chicken pie had way too many peas for my liking but was very good otherwise. The Steak pie was much much better, even ater reheating it.“
“Sure, here's a review for 3 Brewers in Kanata:"I recently visited 3 Brewers in Kanata and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the complimentary parking, making my visit hassle-free. The service was impeccable; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly, making it a great choice for any occasion. Now, let's talk about the food - simply amazing! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Overall, 3 Brewers in Kanata exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, top-notch service, and a wonderful dining atmosphere."“
“Very good experience ? their food was just amazing they had so many varieties especially the chicken wings was so hot and good it was perfectly blended with color, taste and texture so crispy...Their hospitality was so good and the live DJ and dance floor is amazing ..Highly recommended“
“This is one of my favourite spots. It’s in an old stone school house. The food is great. My fav spot for fish and chips. Always packed. The owner is often there with a tray of craft beer samples on a tray and he circulates chatting to people. They try as much as possible to support beer and food suppliers. The wine list is not my fav but it is is a pub. They have a loyal customer base so they don’t need my review.“
“As a Scotsman who has recently moved to Canada it has been hard to find some good haggis in Nova Scotia. Visited here yesterday when in town and I have to say it was delicious, the food is amazing (haggis is cooked perfectly) only downfall is they didn't have whiskey sauce to go with it. the staff are super friendly and very happy to help. Recommend to anyone looking for a good Scottish meal.“
“I can't comment much on the pub itself as we didn't actually sit down to eat or anything but spent a couple of hours playing the pinball machines, which was fun. Some of the machines are really old, which is great nostalgia wise and amusing, but we're frustrating to play. But good selection of older and newer stuff, and a few really neat ones with 2-3 levels (like a pinball within the pinball, hard to explain) and some with a digital component.I also really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. It's good music and not too loud, you can actually have a conversation! We plan on going back.“
“We have been going to Danby's for years as we live in the area. We went there for dinner last night and received a very hearty welcome from Julia upon arrival ?! We were seated at a table of our choice; Layne was our server and he was fantastic. We started with an appetizer of pork belly burnt ends which was delicious. We then moved on to the classic Debbie burger which is never a disappointment. I could only eat half of the burger and took the other half home. Just warmed it up in the microwave and it was AMAZING... Reviews are enormously subjective. We believe that Danby's delivers excellent quality food at a reasonable price. Best wishes for a great 2024 to Danby's, Debbie and all her outstanding staff! CheersParking: So convenient to have ample free parking available.“
“Mine & my partners favourite bar in Aylmer. We love the wings and poutine, amazing beer list, service is always great.I forgot my purse along with my work float & cash, received it the next day, not a penny missing. That speaks to the honesty and integrity of the staff.LOVE YOU guys and thanks so much for giving us a safe space to enjoy. ? Absolute angels.Support local“
“Ended up at Mort's by random choice of after-work pub with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. If there was a 4.5-star option, that's what I would give it.A friend and I randomly chose to try out Mort's on a Tuesday. We had their 2-for-1 large pizzas with 4 beers. It came out to $40 each, so I'm not sure it was the best deal, but the pizzas were surprisingly good. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But much better than any other bar pizza I've had, hands down. The bartender / server was friendly and since the place only holds a couple dozen people the service was quick. It seems like a good business to support .. it's nice to see places like this that aren't just another chain or trying to be like every other Milestones, Barley Mow, etc.Would go back !Parking: Small parking lot beside Mort's, large parking lot at the next driveway leading behind the pub.“
“I like taking my daughter to the Barley Mow (stittsville is our go to but almonte is a favorite drive)... We went tonight. Dinner for 2 plus 2 non alcoholic drinks (I was driving us) came to $44 taxes in. We go there all the time so I gave a nice tip. The owner/manager and staff are amazing. And the new menu *(after covid limited menu) is really fantastic. We are trying something new every time. Tonight I tried chicken tacos and she had a huge bowl of poutine. Both were amazing. Deffo recommended! (Unfortunately I couldn't get a pic of the dishes, my phone was near dead and I needed it to pay as I forgot my purse but they then charged my phone for me!!)“
“$$ Lorenzo's is located in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. The food was great. The service was excellent and quick. The atmosphere is roadhouse so nothing to write home about but totally fine. The Greek salad was good and the kabobs were good. We did not try any of the Italian otpions, but I would go back and try that next time. If you're looking for a good, reasonably priced, quick meal Lorenzo's would fit the bill.“
“I've been coming to the pub for over 25 years and it's never let me down. Chantal, Sara, Brooke and Keri will take care of you and Matt and Jesse are just killing it in the kitchen. Wings and quarts keep the lads coming back. Wing special Sunday to Tuesday. Open mic on Thursday nights. Live music on some weekends.“
“We had a (Woodroffe) High School reunion just over a month ago at the Richmond Road Clocktower Brew Pub - apologies for delayed review - and it was fantastic! The General Manager Jay was tremendous in terms of setting us up for success. His guidance, suggestions and recommendations were spot on. Jessica & her back-room team absolutely delivered on the day. Speaking of back-room that's what they have here (with no extra $ room charge by the way unlike other places, including HDMI big screen TV input for video playback and microphone set-up for free). Creative sliding doors on 2 side generate the group intimacy while still being part of a buzzing/vibrant environment within the pub. We did a lot of research in terms of locations for a 35-40 person gathering & this place topped them all. You don't often get quality, price & efficient/professional delivery all at the same time, but we did at this place. Top shelf all the way. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our reunion such a success!!“
“Just went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago with some friends. The food was amazing. Decided to take my family there for dinner and once again the food was amazing. The waiter was incredible with my whole family. We will be making this a regular spot for dinner for sure!!Kid-friendliness: The waiter made my 6 year old feel like she was special“
“Hey I was served by Kim today on the upstairs patio with my friends and had the best experience. She was so personable and attentive and made our day amazing. She has great work ethic and made our experience something to remember. Great service great drinks.“
“The place to visit when you want to drink a good beer and eat good pub-style food. Ideal for a hockey or football match. There is even a huge terrace which overlooks the interior courtyard of the Agora. You will not be disappointed with the quality of service!“
“Great evening with 15 of us celebrating a 70th birthday party. It was a fun atmosphere and we weren't rushed out but must say they were a bit overwhelmed as drinks took a while to come. In fairness, there was also an even larger party for a 50th birthday party on top of regular clients and the servers were quite young so likely inexperienced but very pleasant. They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake in too. Also, there was some confusion at the end of the night for who was paying for what.House wine was great and so was the Whisky Sour. We had the Butter Chicken and Grilled Salmon that were hot and delicious. Plenty of parking. This is definitely a place I'd come back too whether for a meal or for drinks to watch a game and play darts.“
“My wife and I come to The Royal Oak, Centrepointe, regularly and have always enjoyed the food and service. It's one of our go-to places. In November 2023, we hosted a birthday party for myself, with about 30 guests. We had an excellent experience! We ordered party platters to serve the guests and the food was great. The service from Kayla was exceptional. She was very friendly and helpful, and she took great care of our guests. It really helped make the night special. Thanks Kayla!“
“A surprising, last-minute find close to our hotel. Several interesting plub style choices on the menu and good choice of beers, canned or on tap. We enjoyed our choices, chicken burger and Barley Mow burger. Only negative point was the noise caused by a loud speaking server and a customer at a nearby table.“
