My favourites are the fritto misto, mafalde ai funghi, and the grilled rib steak. It’s a cozy restaurant that’s modern but not pretentious with fresh delicious food.“

L'Antipasto Ristorante blew us away for the time we pulled up to their reserved parking spots. Upon coming close to the front door about to enter the door opened and we were welcomed in by their friendly Italian staff. The menu, which it seems is updated with daily specials, was a fantastic assortment of classic Italian cuisine from all over Italy. We tried the octopus, which was so tender and perfectly presented, we are still talking about how amazing it was the next day. Their pasta was perfect al dente, freshly made that day and cut not extruded, perfection. The service was world class, professional, curious, not rushed at all, focusing on making it feel like you were invited over to your good friends home in Italy for that perfect meal. The house wines - perfectly matched, the cappuccino, amazing! Thank you for the perfect family dinner we will always remember. See you all again soon.“

“I went there yesterday for dinner with my aunt and her daughter to celebrate my birthday and server was informed about it. Coming to the food, pizza was exceptionally made. I could feel the taste of the pizza I had in Rome. Pasta was okay, it could have been better. We requested egg free penne pasta and it was accommodated.
Now comes the part I absolutely love - dessert. I am a big fan of gelatos and I asked this server if they have any gelatos. She gave us 4 options and we chose pistachio and chocolate. She literally served us a very bad quality pistachio ice cream and when I gave her feedback she tried to cover it up saying you know it is italian pistachio gelato maybe that’s why you are not used to of it. Who would tell this lady that I have tried most of the gelato places in GTA/Ottawa and I also tried it in Rome. So, you cannot fool me by serving me a low quality ice cream. Pistachio ice cream had a very different green color which by look made me upset and then the bitter taste it had! To my surprise, there was nothing done to make our experience better even when we complained about it. In the end, we ordered coffee which was okay. Service could be lot better.“

Daughters ordered the penne alla vodka which was creamy and just enough pancetta. The veal Parmesan came with potatoes and veggies. Presentation of plates did not go unnoticed! “I’ve been to this restaurant several times. Food is absolutely amazing and for this reason alone I will return. But as far as the owner is concerned … was very disappointed how he treated us. He basically kicked us out of our seats. The couple sitting next to us who were there already when we were seated were still there enjoying their time yet Walter asked my friend and I to leave because he had the next guests waiting. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. Long story short, not impressed with Walter to say the least but food is exceptional!!“

My dad's accountant is in this complex, so I've been there with him twice recently. Had the veal parmesan sandwich the first time, and the cannelloni on the 2nd visit. Both were absolutely delicious.

Didn't bat an eye today when my dad requested angel hair pasta, which wasn't on the menu for the day. Exceptional service.

Ive NEVER been so upset to finish a meal because something so frigging good had to come to an end. Ive never had sword fish but it was THE BEST FISH DISH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!
My partner enjoyed her pasta dish as well.
Staff are super friendly and the overall feel for the restaurant was great. The music playing was suited for the style and it was at a volume where you dont have to shout over not only the music but the other patrons of the restaurant. Next time we travel to Vaughn we will be coming back!“
