50 Best Burger Restaurants near King

“👉 First of all, this restaurant is NOT in King, as Google Maps suggests. It's at the bridge in Bradford (Simcoe/York border).

This restaurant has been around since my childhood, and though we don't go often, we ALWAYS go there for our large family outings.

They are super accommodating with tons of space and incredible food. I've never had a bad meal at the Riverview. The interior has remained original, which I love. It's comforting to see something that stands the test of time with its retro charm and fights against modern coldness. I much prefer it, if I'm being honest. Modern restaurants have their place, but old school charm is where it's at...

If you haven't yet been to The Riverview, you need to go. Above average portion sizes, great food and service at a reasonable cost. And tons of retro, small town personality.

I would suggest following them on Facebook or Instagram, but... you CAN'T! Old school at its very best. No social media. You'll just have to trust me :)“

“My husband and I were on our honeymoon last week and decided to try The Burgers Priest. We were so blessed to be served by a man named Steven. Not only was he super friendly and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted...but once he found out we were on our honeymoon he went out of his way to make us feel at home. He was happy to hear that people are still willing to take honeymoons and to see true love. I swear he was the friendliest person we met and he blessed us so much this visit. EDIT: Sadly, after getting home with the food, we discovered that one of the burgers did not get the extra pickles we requested, and the fries were pretty much all the wimpy little ends after eating the top layer of full-sized fries. That's just not cool.

“Tried Simba’s Hot Chicken for the first time and it definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and packed with flavour, and the spice level was just right. The fries were seasoned well and everything came out hot. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean. If you’re looking for a great hot chicken spot, I’d definitely recommend Simba’s. I’ll be coming back to try more from the menu!“

“I have been meaning to try this place for years and finally did, through my Plant Curious app. I got a cheeseburger combo and it was definitely very hearty and filling, and they are especially very generous with the portion of waffle fries. Generally I’m not that into fake meat burgers (I prefer the burgers made with vegetables and grains etc) but every now and then the craving for something more “meaty” hits, and this burger certainly hits the spot. The fries are delicious and perfectly seasoned! Too many for me to eat on my own, but that’s not a bad problem to have. Soy Boys does what it does very well. I’m not sure if I’d go back, just because it isn’t my kind of food, but if you’re craving a burger and fries without a side of cruelty, definitely check it out! Our group of friends gets together once a month, and this time we decided to try somewhere different from our usual neighborhood spot. We're so glad we did! The food was great, but Karina's outstanding service truly made the evening special.
