I get the raspberry sauce on the churros and they are warm and fresh each time I’m obsessed. seriously this place has the best food i’ve had outside in a while. the food quality is on point every time and the sauce is delicious. I got the lima bowl with pulled chicken i think? super tender and very filling. 1/3 of this bowl fills me up so i always have leftovers!! definitely worth the price😌 Staff are super friendly and attentive, the place is clean and lots of places to sit but I always get takeout anyway. Today I actually ordered one of their smoothies and it was delicious and actually a reasonable price for its size compared to most smoothie places.“

“I recently attended a wedding at this stunning venue, and I was absolutely enchanted by its Spanish-inspired design and the thoughtful touches that made the evening unforgettable. The outdoor space, with its serene pond surrounded by vine-covered stone columns, immediately transported me to a charming courtyard in Spain. The soft, warm lighting strung above added a romantic glow, perfectly setting the mood for an intimate ceremony under the stars.

Inside, the venue continued to impress. The indoor courtyard felt like stepping into a historic Spanish villa, with its arched stone doorways and warm brick walls. The glass ceiling allowed natural light to pour in during the day, and as night fell, the space transformed under the soft light of elegant hanging lanterns and a central chandelier. The lighting was masterfully done, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly complemented the rustic, Spanish theme.

One of the most unique aspects of the venue was the beautifully detailed map embedded in the ground, featuring names of Spanish towns like "Leon" and "Ponferrada." This unexpected touch added a sense of history and adventure, making the setting even more special.

“Prices were reasonable, portions were large, and our server (Laura) ensured we had everything we needed. Great place to take kids, and can usually get a reservation at a reasonable hour on the weekend. One of our go-to's for family dinners.“

“Can't say enough good things about the civil. Every single time I've dined there the food has been consistently delicious and the drinks as well. The owner seems to take pride in the restaurant and really makes sure everyone's happy. We celebrated birthday and immediately after booking the reservation I received an email asking for a photo of the celebrant a when we arrived they gave her a personalized birthday drink with her photo on it! A lovely touch! Best pizza in the KWC region!“

“I had one of the best evenings of my life here, definitely the best I’ve ever had in North America. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding: the waitress took great care of me, always asking how I liked the beer and helping me choose the next one. She really paid attention to my wishes.

As the evening went on, I started chatting with the locals, and as a German visiting Canada, I felt incredibly welcome. The conversations were fun, warm, and genuine. Toward the end of the night, even the owner came out to join us, and we had a fantastic talk about life, the differences between Germany and Canada, and so much more.

It wasn’t just about drinks, it was about the atmosphere, the people, and the feeling of being part of something special. This place made me feel at home on the other side of the world.

“We went to watch game 7 of the world series. very disappointed when we went to order drinks after 11 that we were informed that the section is closed. I guess they close and advertise kitchen is open to 11pm . Management didn't have the foresight to make arrangements to serve after 11pm as the place was packed with everyone watching the game. Poor planning which caused a lot of lost revenue and unhappy customers.“
