“Just had the best dinner at Forage tonight. A good friend dropped into town and we could escape for dinner. Exceptional service and our meals were on point ( she's gluten free and not an issue at all) Do not pass on the olive tempenade and fresh baked focaccia. Just an amazing meal.“

“The food is very good. Every time I’ve eaten there I enjoy every bite. The flavours vary. The menu varies but it has some solid favourites as standard like the burger. I’ve driven there for takeout which takes me an hour each way. Why? Because I like the food and supporting small businesses in quaint towns. Alton is a hidden as is this restaurant. It’s worth the road trip.“
“Wow! We found a great pub, Peters Cellars, at the inn. Downstairs in of course. Room for about 20 to 25 people , so cozy is the word. My wife and I enjoyed the beef tacos - great food, terrific presentation and service. There were few people at 8 PM when we arrived, so quite intimate. Fully recommend. And the dessert menu is great too.“
“I preferred their pastry over their cooked breakfast. Tried one of the danishes and a cookie and enjoyed them. For breakfast, the service and prep was super quick but I wasn't a big fan of fries or the sandwich I got. They were both too soggy and greasy for my taste.Also the store did not have a huge variety, which was okay for us since we went there to have breakfast.“
