“They have great food there but don’t go there hungry. You will be waiting forever for your food. We had many instances where we waited way too long for our food that we just decided not to go back. We stayed away for awhile and thought to give it another try tonight. Not only did we wait forever for our food, others got seated & served before us. I waived the manager down and she gives the excuse of the waffle maker being broken then the waitress says it was because they got our slips mixed up. They gave me antra salad to make up for it and my kid got sprinkles on his waffles. No discount on the bill. I loved going to this place but we will not be visiting Symposium again“

“My wife and I went out for dinner on Tuesday night, October 13, 2026 with a group of friends. We have never been to Hogan’s in King City before but I’ve driven by it far too many times and thinking each time that I’d like to go in.

We were a group of six and the other four are also what you would consider gourmands. Normally, I would be taking photos of my food just for this purpose but because we were there with these other four I didn’t feel it appropriate to photograph my food in the usual manner.

I had the 8 ounce steak that was cooked to perfection, medium rare. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and it melted in my mouth. I followed the waiters suggestion with the roasted potatoes and asparagus. His suggestion for a glass of Pinot Gri matched perfectly.

We dined early at around 5 o’clock. The owner came by and checked on us a number of times. The service was top-notch. The restaurant was not busy and it was very easy to hear each other. The restaurant has a number of separate dining areas and we were away from other tables. I would definitely go back again. I would even like to go during a busier time of the week.

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for 71 years and nothing much has changed. Top notch food at a very respectable price. The staff are the greatest and very friendly and helpful. Hard to believe in this day and age that you can go to a restaurant and get treated supremely with respect. “We truly enjoyed a leisurely lunch today at Kelsey's Richmond Hill. We need to give a lot of the credit and thanks to our server, Sarah, who was always there when we needed her. She provided us with some excellent suggestions for food and drinks as well as impeccable service coming from a warm and friendly person. While my wife was thoroughly enjoying a cup of tea and a hearty soup with salad and a sandwich, I was just beside myself with every bite of the mushroom melt burger. The burger and fries were prepared and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend that you try this burger, especially if you love mushrooms. Treat yourself. I was also introduced to a delicious refreshing beer called Muskoka Pineapple Ninja. I've never seen it before and it appears that if I can't find anywhere else I'll have to go back. All in all, this was a perfect afternoon. Also, we have promised ourselves that we are going to do this again next week.“

“Loved the Christmas decorations! Food and service good. Was there for lunch but the music was so loud we had to shout to be heard. Don’t mind music while eating but the volume was quite annoying. People across from us commented they did not enjoy the music or its volume. We were going to come to Jack’s with another couple for dinner but have changed our plans due to the noise level.“
