“Anyone who is familiar with this little gem know they do not take reservations. We always plan around the times and avoid when it is most busiest. Today we were seated immediately in a waterfront table. I always look forward to the seafood fettuccine Alfredo and it is still number one in Ottawa in my opinion. We had excellent wait staff and an amazing waitress. The bruschetta was great, our mains excellent with wine and he enjoyed his pecan pie and coffee. Our service was impeccable and our waitress accompanied us to the dock where my boyfriend proposed. It was absolutely beautiful and she took photos while everyone clapped. I want to thank all the staff at Kelly’s Landing for the fantastic service, the chef for the amazing food and the owner for his kind and cheerful service and lastly all the customers tonight who applauded. I wished I would have remembered our waitress name who made our experience magical! Thank you!“

While the restaurant was clearly busier than usual, we did make a reservation and were seated promptly. The service and food that night was especially good and we want to commend the staff and kitchen for keeping pace with a much higher demand that evening.“

“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“

“’ve been a fan of Sansotei for years, and this Merivale location continues that same reliable, comforting experience I’ve come to expect. Everything here is consistently good—from the broth to the noodles to the toppings—and it matches the quality I’ve enjoyed at their Toronto locations as well.

My “home base” will always be the Sansotei on Bank Street, right next to my office building. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve slipped in during lunch for a quick bowl that resets the whole day. This Merivale spot carries that same warmth and consistency, which is why it’s so easy to recommend.

“This is a great well kept secret. I found out about this place through word of mouth and was pleasantly surprised. Tucked away in bell’s corner. Their pizza was excellent. Homemade crust was outstanding. The beer they have covers all ranges from ipa, lager, stout and the in betweens. They do offer other beverages such as ciders and hard seltzers. The atmosphere had a great vibe with a bit of light industrial crossed with rustic feel.“

“One of my go-to places for Chinese food in Ottawa. The taste is authentically Shanghainese and tastes just like the food I've eaten in Shanghai. Their pork wonton soup and spicy beef brisket noodles are my go-to (of course, with their pan fried buns), and are delicious with generous portion sizes. Their shop is a bit small though, so it's good to go early or call ahead to get a spot! Their pan fried buns are also perfect to re-heat in the air fryer if you get take out.“

“2025. Great quality and taste. Ordered about 40 mins before close time on a Sunday and the food was ready quickly and fresh. Maki Combo and Tempura Udon. The udons portion was not really much but taste was good. Deep fried veggies were really crunchy.
