“The baklava is nice and super flaky which is sort of rare nowadays. Ingredients seemed high quality and fresh. If the bottom piece of the baklava was a touch less sweet, it would be perfect. The trilece was delicious, had balanced sweetness and the glazed top layer was amazing. It had an interesting and slightly different taste that you dont encounter often (in a good way). Guy that runs it is super nice and personable. Dont expect super low prices though, these pastries are quality. Would return 100%.“

“I DO KOT RECOMMEND ANYMORE I used to love their cakes and pastries but the last 2 years they have disappointed me. When I ordered both cakes I asked to make sure they had extra syrup or espresso or rum. The other day I picked up a rum cake that I specifically asked if it can be moist like the babas, which they ensured it will be. I picked it up and to my disappointment the cake was DRY!!! NO moisture in the cake what so ever. When I called they did nothing about it. This is the reason I will never go back and ensure many are made aware. if I wanted a cake with custard I could have got the slab at Costco“

My recommendation to confirm that my comment is true:
Start by tasting "1 mulita de pastor and 1 mulita de campechano", if you are a good eater like me, don't be left wanting and "order the 3rd mulita de asada" accompany them with a horchata or glass coke, for dessert there is a great variety but what I liked the most "strawberries with cream in a glass" I don't remember the name but the decoration looks a lot like the filling of the goose, mosaic gelatin and the Flan very delicious too.

“Was looking for a brunch place and found Gramma’s Oven Bakery. Walked in and got a whiff of the breads and the coffee. The owner gave us briefing of what they bake. 11 different types of breads and various cold sandwiches.

We ordered coffee, croissant and sourdough sandwich butter and jam. But if you can see the image below we inhaled our breakfast unfortunately there was no time to take the pic. Thank you.“

“Upon walking in your are hit with the most wonderful smell of freshly baked Danmarki/ Danish pastry(If you know you know)!
The first day we only got the usual Danmarki and they kindly offered two pieces of coconut and almond danish pastries which was a nice gesture and the very next day, we went back and got more of them. They are decadent, super tasty, and heavenly. My taste buds are still dancing.

“***I DO NOT RECOMMEND *** The customer service at the head office is awful. They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. “I am Korean Canadian with a pretty normal palate for food. I have become a regular here for the breads and pastry. In particular I love their personal sized pizzas and a tubular pastry that has feta and spinach Burek I think, I forget the name but absolutely the most crispy flaky and delicious breakfast I can have. Seems (pronounce Shems) is the gentlman usually behind the counter who is just the kindest man. They also have raw honey which my kids loved and I just tried the cherry drink. Good stuff especially for my gout. I am a customer for life~“
