“The food is quite good. But I do suggest the owner consider some of the reviews here. It is too salty for some dishes, for example pork with eggplant. Nowadays, even in north China, people believe too much salt is not good for healthy blood pressure.
To me, the mandatory 10% tip is quite reasonable, which spares me from facing options of tips awkwardly.“
“Easy to work with and killer results! From consulting to the finished product they were so professional and helped my event go off without a hitch. Highly recommended for all events!“

“Ordered the duck on noodles and roasted and bbq pork on rice. With the amount of people I saw working in the back, I'm not sure how they make money at $10 a meal. Food was the perfect amount of sauceiness and greasiness. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.“

“I had a great dinner with friends on 8 June. Good food of great value. Waiter Samuel is cheerful and helpful.“
“In the summer, I like to barbecue, but I am lazy. The food before delivery is really convenient, and each food is divided, and it is also vacuum-packed, so I no longer worry about trouble and waste. The most important thing is that my friends think it tastes good. Now I want to barbecue Just buy the barbecue meat from the former food directly!“

“Jiangcheng Xiaojiaoguan BBQ House is one of the rare restaurants in Toronto that truly delivers authentic flavors. Not only is the food delicious, but the taste is genuinely traditional. The service reflects the boldness and warmth of northern Chinese hospitality, bringing back memories of the flavors of my childhood.“

“I have frequented this HK BBQ resto many times before. The food, portions and price have always been bang on terrific and delicious 🤤.
The roast pork & rice 🍚 is my fave, but the bbq pork is ultra satisfying along with the octopus 🐙. I have never tried the duck or the sausage, but I am fairly certain that they must be delicious because there is a good amount of returning customers every time that I am here 👍.
You can find them in the food court which is the heart of Metro Square for decades 😁.
Happy eats 😎 everyone“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“We went at fairly late night and grabbed the today special. They had no more steamed rice so he gave us roasted duck instead (which I actually preferred ). Plus, the meal also comes with a soup on the side too!
To say they were generous is an understatement, cause that take out bag was heavy! The steamed cabbage was such a nice touch and balance to the meal. The soy sauce they gave was really good, but i wish they gave us more due to the amount of food, lol. The problem was perfectly crispy and the duck was meaty and juicy. The soup was comforting liquid gold and was perfect for a cold winter night. We can definitely see why this spot is a local fan favorite!“

“I haven't had 燒肉 and 燒鴨 in a good long while, and this place satisfied all my cravings. The rice was perfectly cooked with 多汁, and the meat was perfect, reminds me of the many lunch boxes I had in HK. Above all, the hospitality and kindness really brought a smile to my face. Oh, and of course, unbeatable prices. Thank you :)“

“4 stars because what you pay for, it’s actually not too bad. Compared to another famous Cantonese style food spot, this is gonna be much better on your wallet.
Food isn’t too bad and we have been here a few times already and even got the party trays for new years.
Their combo meal price is well worth what you get. We had 4 dishes for $61.99 and perfect amount for 4 people.
We have gotten the same dishes for 2 times with this combo and we like the fish filet with sweet corn sauce, the beef with mushroom and the sweet and sour pork. We tend to opt for a noodle dish for the 4th option.
The fish filet could be crunchier but when doused with the sweet corn, it’s gonna get soft. And it doesn’t drench and get soggy right away which is nice.
The beef with mushroom is a good option too. The mushrooms have a nice bite to them. They aren’t soft to the point of being overcooked.
Sweet and sour pork has a nice thick sauce covering the pork and this is always a family favourite, regardless of where we go eat Cantonese style food.
We have always had takeout, but service is always quick and every time they give us a timeframe, it’s always ready before that.
Parking is very easy as this plaza is huge and has parking available on every corner of the plaza. Even with a food basics in the olaza, you will never have to worry about parking for the several restaurants and fast food spots.
Great job overall“

“A welcome addition in the area near 16th Avenue and Woodbine Avenue. This Char Siu Manor sells more than Char Siu (bbq pork), it also sells other typical Chinese BBQ.
They have daily special such as roast BBQ pork with rice for $10.00 CDN (including tax) and other single item with rice daily. I If you want 2 types of meat, they also have deal at $11.75 CDN (including tax).
The portion is good, rice is steam hot (which I prefer), it comes with some veggies and a complimentary Chinese soup.
The place isn't that big but it offers some tables and chairs for a quick meal. It's self-serve sauce and utensils, no service, just more like a fast food cafeteria style.
Most people buy take-out and brings it home. There is a nostalgic arcade game near the entrance. I think the food is good, nice portion, tasty, modern, clean.
The butcher chef is courteous and nice. What I like and appreciate buying meat here is that if you ask for 1lb, the butcher will try to give you as close as 1lb, we all know it's hard to be exact when meat such as pork has bones which is not easily to get close to the exact weight. I am scared of buying Chinese BBQ from other stores coz if you ask for 1lb of meat, they cut it purposely to be like 1.5 lb which is way more meat for 2 people.
Here, the butcher was 1.19 lb for my bbq pork which was very close to my requested 1lb, I will definitely be back.
I requested to have half fat-half thin BBQ pork and the butcher was able to find one exactly to my request. So good!
Highly recommended. I tried it the roast pork, BBQ pork, would like to try the BBQ duck or ma po tofu or sweet & sour pork next time.“

“I have been getting big bone by delivery for about 6/7 years, only have went in a handful of times and last night I went a half hour before closing, they were still having such a nice attitude when typically when you go right before closing the workers arent to happy but not them! I got the big bone combo to share with my partner and they put extra wings, ribs and corn bread for us which was a significant difference in the amount of food split I thought that was extremely nice and on top the food is ALWAYS delicious especially the Markham location.
Thank you so freaking much!“
