“The duck here is absolutely outstanding, have been eating BBQ duck at many different restaurants over multiple decades in the GTA and this place is the best. Zero exaggeration. The Char Siu was not very good though so hard pass on that. Did not seem very flavorful. But the duck alone gives this place 100000/10“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“Ryan, he’s the man! So on top of orders and comes in at the right time to change the grill. He also recommends the best food to order, one recommendation he put us on is plum juice, helps with digestion, it was amazing! Shout out to you Ryan, see you again with my big back friends! 🫵🏼❤️“

“Not sure why rating is so low but this place is awesome. Great vibe, great food, moderate prices. Don’t recommend take out though - this type of cuisine is meant for dine-in. Only downside - super small place. I think i counted 8 tables only.“

“I have frequented this HK BBQ resto many times before. The food, portions and price have always been bang on terrific and delicious 🤤.
The roast pork & rice 🍚 is my fave, but the bbq pork is ultra satisfying along with the octopus 🐙. I have never tried the duck or the sausage, but I am fairly certain that they must be delicious because there is a good amount of returning customers every time that I am here 👍.
You can find them in the food court which is the heart of Metro Square for decades 😁.
Happy eats 😎 everyone“

“Excellent tasting bbq Chinese food, great friendly service (communication was in Cantonese) and tremendous value at such low price for the quantity of food.
There were one or two pieces of meat that were discarded as too fatty but $11 or so for 3 types of meat, rice, soup and ginger oil was amazing value.“

“Great find! A real neighbourhood hidden gem!!
Treating myself to a rare Cantonese Roasted Goose and half a Rose Wine Essence Premium Top Soya Sauce Free Range Chicken for the wife at this relatively new hidden gem, close to T&T!
Excellent product with authentic, exemplary seasoning. IMO, one of the best, if not the best Cantonese roasted meat joints in the area ( Richmond Hill/Markham ). Tough choice between 'Excellent BBQ House' inside Richlane Plaza and this place. CSM might win out by a whisker because of their cheaper price point!
BTW, though obviously, this 'Canadian rendition' Roasted Goose of mine fell short of some of Hong Kong's finest. However, IMHO, for the rarity, the absolutely delectable spot-on 'did-not-cut-corner' marinade/seasoning, the resulting taste profile and the firmer, chewier 'free-range' texture of the meat.......I have zero complaints!!
As for the chicken, it was the third time I got this perfectly executed and flavourful bird for the wife....need I say more?“

“Dropped by to welcome a friend back to Canada, and this place delivered more than we expected. We went in on the Party Pack 4, which came with a full rack, 1 lb wings with their signature BBQ sauce, 1 lb pulled pork, coleslaw, beans, fries, cornbread, and a tub of sauce. On top of that, we added Pig Skins and a pound of pulled brisket just because we couldn’t help ourselves.
To my taste, things leaned a bit saucy overall, but wow, the balance was something else. Ribs just fell apart with a bite, no knife needed. Pulled pork and brisket weren’t overly tender like some others, but still super satisfying and kind of addictive once you get into it. Wings and fries hit the mark, no need to overthink. Pig Skins were a great suggestion from the server too, no regrets there.
Even though it seemed like only one person was running the floor, service was attentive and easygoing. No lineup, quick turnaround, and just good vibes. Only wish the AC was working a bit stronger, but honestly, when the food hits this well, you kinda forget the rest.
Already planning to come back so I can go deeper into the sauces and maybe build my own plate next time. Real solid spot.“
