“This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you, the food is GOOD (or as we say in Trinidad, "It lashing").
The portions are HUGE! Read the other reviews and you'll see the same, this in no exaggeration.

I bought doubles and a goat roti.
The doubles was a 4.5 out of 5. The only thing that was missing was some cucumber chutney but that is personal preference.
The goat roti was a 4.5 out of 5. I feel it needed a bit more salt but then again I'm a saltaholic ??‍♂️ so personal preference again.

I took a coworker from Korea who never had Trini food... he was blown away. It's always nice to have people genuinely enjoy food from your culture.

“I ordered catering for a corporate event downtown with approximately 80 attendees. Viv was able to accommodate a variety of Carribean dishes and deliver downtown on time and at a fair price. After the event, several attendees raved about how good the food was and even asked to take home some of the hot sauce. I would highly recommend eating here and using them for catering based on the high praised recieved, Viv's personable attitude, and, ofcourse, the delicious food.“

“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! Great place to be, for lunch, dinner or special events... please don't forget 1/2 price wings on Tuesdays...throw in some festivals too eh! “Had a great lunch from here today. I had the goat lunch and my co worker had the jerk chicken. The goat was amazing and very reasonably priced. Medium portion was more than big enough for me.

“The food here is delicious, it’s the best Jamaican food that I have tasted in Ontario other than a place in Orillia. I have had their jerk chicken, the oxtail, their soups and their breakfast items. All delicious. I am yet to try their fish but I am sure that will be tasty as well. I crave their food!

The staff are always friendly. I saw someone note that you can’t pay by credit card, but I have always used my VISA credit card here to pay. Credit, debit or cash. Maybe it was the type of credit card for that person.“
