“Great time at Takumi. We got there just after 6pm on a Thursday and they were able to seat our family of 5. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). The meats were fresh, the grills had pretty even heat distribution, and the selection of vegetables was phenomenal. The service was also very attentive. Good for families, dates, and many events due to their private rooms“

“I had such an amazing experience at this hibachi restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The chefs were incredibly skilled and entertaining, making the whole hibachi experience so much fun.

I also want to give a special shoutout to the manager, Aaron. He was extremely attentive, professional, and welcoming. Today, Sept 2023, we went again here. But the waitress very fast taking our empty plates. After finishing our meals and put the chopsticks, within 1 minutes, the waitress took our plates. Too fast.

In Dec 2024, we had lunch again here. This time we ordered three menus, and the Korean waitress also nicely offered us bluefin tuna with special price.“

I got the sushi platter with a bunch of different variations which is a nice option. I also got the teryaki chicken bento with spring rolls and shrimp. The udon noddles are really good and so is the shrimp but the spring rolls weren't my favorite. Ireally enjoyed my meal here and will definitely come back!“

The food at Ono Poke Bar was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the experience was mixed. I waited at the front for about 10 minutes before being greeted, but the staff member who eventually helped me was friendly and polite. The atmosphere wasn’t ideal as the space is quite small (you can only have the food to go), but the adorable stuffed animals scattered around added a nice, quirky touch. Overall, great food but some room for improvement in service and ambiance!“

“Ordered from Manna Rice Dog on UberEats today. There was a special $11 promotion for 2 half chicken and mozzarella corn dogs, which was a great deal. The corn dogs were fresh out of the oven, hot, and ready to enjoy. The corn dogs had a soft and chewy texture with the best cheese pull. Every bite was delicious. I especially liked how the corn dogs switch between the chicken and mozzarella parts. No other corn dog is a match for Manna Rice Dog's. I highly recommend that you try it at least once. It's the best takeout I have eaten in the longest time. My only gripes are that the service could be quicker and it would be nice if there were more free sauce options and sturdier takeout boxes.“

“Some of their rolls with the crispy bits goes a bit too hard on it. I got the crazy scallop roll and it was stuffed with a little bit of scallop and then 90% crispy bits and then topped with crispy bits.

Other than that, the avocado is fresh and the other rolls were a good size.“

“Starting the long weekend with a delicious lunch at Momiji Japanese Restaurant. It was my first time dining here, and the recommendation came from my father-in-law. The restaurant is small, cozy, and welcoming, with excellent customer service—attentive and warm throughout our visit.

Every dish was delicious, with impressive quality and freshness. I was genuinely impressed. The Sushi Sashimi Moriwase was the standout—beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor.

I think I’ve just discovered another favorite Japanese restaurant in Mississauga, alongside Tomo Sushi. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, I’m trying the sushi boat!“

“I had a dynamite roll for lunch today, and the portion was so big that I was really full. The sauce was just right, and the amount of rice in the roll was perfect, making the ingredients inside blend together really well. I’d love to try the other rolls too“

“By far the best sushi all you can eat in the GTA. Fresh food, good service and huge menu. The best: Fresh sashimi/niguiri/tourched salmon. Beef teriyaki, tuna, shrimp tempura, the variety of soups and rolls. They include green tea. After the second round, service slow down but still, very good service.“

“This place is always packed. It's a testament as to how good this place really is. The sashimi is fresh and tasty. They literally have the best rice. I know. It's just rice but they make it so good that you notice the difference compared to other places. And the perfection extends to their dishes as well. No fault could be found.
