Pumpernickel's Reviews
Good food and taste. Hygiene standards need to be marked up a bit. Gloves need to be worn while handling food and no hairnets worn while working on the front line. This should be a non-negotiable for a brand of this repute.
Great hidden gem close to so many small businesses in the city centre area. Good lunch meetup place. Got pretty busy with take outs - but was ample seating. Limited parking.
Don't understand why people working there are so unhappy.
Food is OK, Service is OK, BUT THIS PLACE IS JUST OK.
There are better and happier places to have your lunch in the area indeed.

Pumpernickel's offers great food and service, with fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service. The restaurant features daily lunch specials and is recommended for events. It is a good hidden gem close to many small businesses in the city center, making it a nice lunch meetup place. The Western Vegetable Omelet is a must-try, made with fresh vegetables and fluffy eggs. Though it can get busy with take-outs, there is ample seating available. Pumpernickel's is also known for its catering, with a variety of platters that accommodate dietary restrictions, which makes it a go-to spot for many. The consistent quality of ingredients and welcoming ambiance make every visit a delightful gastronomic journey. However, some customers have raised concerns about hygiene standards, noting the need for gloves and hairnets while handling food. While the food is delicious and often craved, some believe the service could be improved, as there seems to be some unhappiness among the staff. Overall, courteous and efficient service adds to the charm of Pumpernickel's, making it a favorite spot for many.
