“We drove here by a couple of weeks ago and I knew I wanted to try it out asap. Finally today we had the time to go and wow we had a fantastic experience at Windmill Country Market in Mount Pleasant, Brant! First we enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips, and then we walked around to look at their selection of home decor items which we were very cute and unique. They even have items like quilts, candles, and handcrafted Amish furniture. And who can resist a treat from their bakey?! We were too full to have the desserts there but we definitely took it to go! Recommend it 100%!“

“I am always coming back here. The only thing I order is the cheese one. When it comes freshly baked out of the oven, I can easily finish 12 of them at once. They are that delicious! They have other options too, but i didn't find them as desirable as the cheese one - however mind you, I see the Zaatar, and the Beef one get ordered quite frequently too. The ladyfingers are perfectly moist and the texture is light and creamy. Beyond the classic tiramisu, they offer unique flavors like chocolate and pistachio which are amazing. Nonna Lia's desserts are clearly made fresh using family recipes and premium ingredients. If you love Italian sweets, Nonna Lia is a must-try. “Let me start by saying that we have been coming to the Streetsville location since it opened and have never been disappointed, Super Moon has always been the go to anytime we want a light dessert. I came into the store on a Sunday with a strange request, my son wanted a regular sized Moon Cake double layered and dressed like the Mini Moons for his birthday. The store was happy to do a custom order and had it ready the next day even though they were closed. The cake was a hit, amazing flavour and the buttercream was just the right sweetness so it wouldn't overpower the cheescake.The customer service from Super Moon is next level as are their products. During a recent get-together with them at our place, I popped out to Supermoon and picked up a box of four cheese tarts, four chocolate tarts and one of their new Spring flavours of cheesecake – blueberry. I served the tarts as a snack and the cheesecake as an after-dinner dessert. They ALL absolutely loved both the tarts and the blueberry cheesecake!They agreed that the tarts were smooth, very tasty, and not too sweet with a light crispy crust. The blueberry cheesecake smelled so good when I opened the box and it tasted even better; it even had bits of blueberries. Supermoon’s cheesecakes are so light, fluffy, and fresh.I saw from another Supermoon review that they previously made a Mango cheesecake. I hope they will make that again real soon; I would love to try that as I love anything Mango – lol ?. It's probably because we did end up going when it was close to closing & then tried going when it opened. I did enjoy the fresh, soft Spanish rolls. The middle filling has the perfect sweetness to it. I also liked the carioca. It was perfectly fried with the right amount of glaze, which is usually brown sugar. “We've been customers for years, since the opening. We've always loved the cakes, cookies, and pastries. I pre-ordered a cake for a birthday to be picked up for 12pm. At 1pm, the cake is still frozen rock solid in the middle. I've attached pics to show the frozen cake parts. When I called to speak to someone, I was told "leave it out 30 minutes from time of pick up." I then asked what a customer is to do, in terms of wanting a cake for immediate eating. She said order it for pickup with 2-3 hours of leeway for cake to warm up. This is shocking. I've never heard of eating frozen cake other than from Fairy Queen. Also a customer has to give leeway time for eating it? Wow. Time to find a new bakery.“

It's a small place (refering to the front of the store; a large space in the back is used by the bakery itself), lots of people in and out, but service is excellent, so you would not be stuck waiting in line. It is quite expensive (cheese loaf was $8, and mini breads with toppings $3-4 each, plus taxes), so I think of shopping here more as a treat, rather than regular place to buy bread. Opportunity for improvement: add gluten free options, there aren't any available now.“
