“We stopped in for lunch on our drive home from Quebec to Sudbury. It seemed fairly busy, yet our food arrived seemingly instantaneously. The staff are so kind and welcoming. What really stood out to me was how fresh everything was. The avocado was such high-quality, something hard come by in Sudbury. Everything we ordered was well prepared and just leagues above what we're used to being served at home. We will return. Thank you!“

Each roll has its own unique taste, unlike other sushi shops in the same price range that have a common base and just add different sauces and call it a different roll. “Tried this place this evening around 5pm. Very small inside (only about 5-6 tables) and was empty when we arrived but got busier shortly after we arrived. The service was very quick and the server was nice, polite and attentive. The sushi and sashimi were both very fresh. The rice was also very fresh and none of our rolls crumbled. The sashimi slices were of decent size also. We had the boat for 2 and a red tuna maki roll - everything was fantastic! Would recommend and would definitely go back.“

Marcello our waiter was nothing but exceptional he made us feel welcomed and explained everything on the menu. He was able to give us that special customer service that keeps folks coming back for more. The sushi was out of this world 10/10 for me MHK is at the top of my list. It was savoury and every bite was perfection. The owner Mai was so sweet and made sure to ask the guests how we were it was intimate and felt like I was at home with family. “First and foremost they got this sick robot, it even says goodbye to you. Secondly the foods good, the rolls are massive and they have a great selection, never tried the cream cheese ones cuz why would I, but they have quite a few of them. I always leave stuffed and have no complaints, except their cream cheese rolls, I would take a salmon cucumber only roll in exchange for the removal of all the cream cheese rolls. Also cool lights above table, like they don’t suit the establishment vibe at all but they’re really cool looking. Definitely recommend for everyone, so much so I felt the need to leave a review. Please think about that salmon cucumber roll sushi village people, also a Malona at the end of dinner would be sick too, but they do have dessert so like why am I complaining. “We visited this restaurant for dinner as a family on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent even though it took a little longer than anticipated. We ordered one house special pho, one lemongrass chicken vermicelli, one fried chicken poke and one salmon poke.

The server apologized for the delay. It was a busy night with the restaurant full of patrons as well as many take-out orders. Perhaps this was the reason contributing to why it took longer for the food to arrive than anticipated.

It was a pleasant experience overall. I will return if I am nearby the area next time on a weeknight perhaps.“
