Can't wait for Ontario covid lockdowns to end so we can go back and enjoy a meal at our new favourite restaurant in downtown NOTL. The food is excellent and I like that they use many regional ingredients. The wine list is very good, and while all staff are knowledgeable about the wines, it's a nice touch to get to chat with the sommelier and receive their recommendations on pairings for your meal. We recently enjoyed another excellent meal at Treadwell. We had reservations for the patio but were moved inside due to the weather. Covid protocol was in place and followed. It was our second time having Manuel as our server, and appreciated his knowledge of the menu, the wine list, and our conversation about some new wineries in the area. Niagara-on-the-Lake get away with my wife for her birthday. Decided to do a foodie experience and chose Treadwell as our first meal. Secured a hard to get reservation. Reception on arrival was personal and nice private corner table seating. Extensive and exquisite list of Ontario wines. Chose one after having it explained by the fantastic Sommelier.
