“Had a great time wine tasting here. This was a random pick because they had a great public tour offer ($25- two for one), and was open till 6 pm unlike most places which close at 5, and they have their restaurant right there.

Andreas was the touring guy, he was very excited to share history about this place, and show us the winery. Glad I picked this place.

This was a different experience than usual wine tasting experience, perfect for history geeks who like to know stories behind everything.

“We stopped here for lunch. I had the grilled cheese sandwich. Delicious. My wife had the French onion soup. Good but could have been hotter. Service was great and all for a very reasonable price. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it was also quite loud. If you are hearing challenged might want to avoid it at busy times. Reservation recommended.“

“Great place to eat, fast friendly service with delicious food and reasonable prices. We had falafel wrap, chicken wrap and fries everything was very tasty definitely worth a visit.“

“We visited here yesterday, just before going to the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good selection of brews on tap, across the spectrum of styles. They also had a very nice selection of one off sours, in bottles, to sell. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We learned a lot while chatting with him. We loved the clean, modern look of the bar area. We did not get upstairs to the patio, but we will do that next time. What a great place. We will definitely return.“

“We had a tour yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. For some reason none of us remembered our tour guides name but he did a great job explaining the history and showing us around. The ice wine tasting was amazing. We enjoyed having marshmallows around the fire pit. The food I had was tasty.“

4 of us ordered various apps and entrees. Mine were oysters plus steak and ale pie. I can attest to mine but the others all had high praise for their orders. Included were Brussel sprouts, shepherds pie, calamari, and burger and a dessert (can't recall what it was).“

“I went there for the wine tasting at the end of a tour.
I really enjoyed it. We got to taste white and red wine, as well as icewine. The staff explained a bit about each one and specially about icewine.
The store has a lot of interesting products,I just wished they had a smaller bottle of icewine, so I could take it home on my carry on luggage.“

“The tour costs $45 CAD for a 45-minute experience and includes three glasses of wine plus a glass of icewine served inside an ice igloo, which is a unique and memorable highlight. As one of the newer wineries in the area, the tour was informative and well-organized and a great experience overall. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, it’s definitely worth heading to Niagara-on-the-Lake to try icewine. There are plenty of great wineries around here.“

“We’ve been coming here for months! This restaurant truly has kept our family fed while we’ve all battled the worse flu virus we’ve ever experienced 😆
The prices are phenomenal and the most affordable in the area. It is a quick, stop and eat type of breakfast joint. Family run business.
And if you didn’t know, they also have a drive-thru! So, you can literally order bacon and eggs from your car.
I usually call ahead so I don’t have to sit in the drive-thru though.“

“Stopped in for a sub. Just at the takeout window so I can't speak to the atmosphere. But the lady who made the sub fresh was very nice and the sub was delicious. Price after tax was 12.15 which is very reasonable for a chicken Parm sub. Will definitely stop in again“

“Stayed here for weekend birthday. Got breakfast as part of my stay. I am single traveller. Staff was fabulous from start to finish. Food was great as well. Staff is the strength of the place. They are courteous, efficient and most pleasant to deal with. Lovely place to stay and eat.“

“When you in Niagara on the Lake the one commodity readily available is wine. What really separates a one winery from another is customer service and the experience provided. Initially my review was not going to be stellar. The bar service was slow and the attitude of some of the bartenders made it seem like we were more of a nuisance rather than a valued patron. We asked to see the manager on duty and that is when we met Joseph. He turned our experience right around and had empathy for what we had experienced. He first apologized for what had happened and then not only made things right but went well beyond are expectations. We will return to Gretzky’s because of Joseph. Let this be a lesson to all wineries in the area, good patrons want an experience. We have options and are happy to move on when our expectations are not met. Thank you Joseph!!!!!“

She knew exactly how to explain each wine that was served to us - and even shared pictures from the event that was held the night before when we asked about the structure that was being disassembled. “Seriously they make the best chicken burger. I had the chicken burger (grilled) with coleslaw, pickles and mayo (regular instead of chipotle) and it was absolutely one of the tastiest I’ve ever had! The staff were all excellent too. Very friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the poutine, which was delicious and a huge serving!“
