“Went here today with my family for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. Service was great, really friendly, and the food is simple but tasty - very much traditional breakfast food but with some nice touches, such as grilled peppers in the home fries and a slice of watermelon. It's more reasonably priced than some other places in the area. It does look a little rough on the outside but don't let that fool you, it's a cute place for breakfast and we'd go again!“

“Asmit made me the best Bacon Double Cheese poutine! Most times I find that at other locations of New York Fries, they don't put enough cheese so by the time you get to the bottom there's usually just plain fries with very little cheese but when Asmit made mine every single fry had cheese on it! It really hit the spot and I came back just to compliment her because it was that good! ? Thank you!!!“

“Came here with a friend for the first time and must say it is pretty decent. The restaurant could use more space to accommodate more dine in customers. Wait times for food is doable. We ordered 2 pounds of creamy garlic wings and ribs. Hands down the best wings I had. It was so crispy way better than St. Louis. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried the ribs myself but will be back.Recommend for anyone.“

“Overall, had a nice experience at Denny's on Rutherford today. The restaurant and dishes and cutlery were clean (which means something in today's world) and the food was decent. The hash browns could have been a little more crispy, but I'll know to ask for that next time. “The last 3 visits we have had the pleasure of being served by Lucy. She has to be the best server and she always serves us with a smile. We already know when we see her walking to our table that we are gonna have a great experience. I must also say that I have never been disappointed at this location. The chicken has to be the juciest and the food is always fresh. My wife and I come here with our 3 small children and they always finish all their food. Also the service is pretty quick in terms of wait times for food ,drinks and getting the bill.“

He was very attentive and a great server! I ended up having a great time with my mom, and my wife also accompanied me. “We had a pretty large group of 11 that decided to grab dinner together after an event on a Sunday night, without prior notice or planning, so lo reservation.The staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful getting us settled in.Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, funny, and attentive. I wish I could remember her name in order to commend her personally to management.(P.S. To management, we were there on March 24th, 9-11pm, long table in front of the bathrooms. Our server and those around helping were exceptional.)“

“My kids were craving wings on the way home after their Jiu-jitsu class and a quick google search led us here. The service was good overall. The attendant was helpful and answered my questions regarding the menu as the names of the sauces don’t clue you in about the ingredients and there was no description in the paper menu. He did have to go in the back and help in the kitchen as more orders came in so after getting our food I had to wait like 5 minutes for him to come back to the front just to get some extra napkins.The facilities are small, so there are a few tables and chairs. It really is more of a takeout place and not a full sit down, full-service restaurant but the kids were hungry so we ate there.They didn’t have any paper/disposable plates and there are no washrooms available in their premises and with little ones, you know they always have to go even if it’s a quick stop so we ate quickly and left. Again, this might be because it’s a take out/delivery place. Still, cleanliness and overall ambiance could be improved.We ordered the family deal and took home some leftovers. The wings were flavourful and drowned in sauce. The cheesy-garlic bread did not need the extra spices. I believe they had a Cajun dusting which was overpowering and made it too salty but the Cajun seasoning on the fries was perfect. The kids almost devoured the entire basket of fries with the gravy before I could even take pictures.Overall they get a ? the kids enjoyed the food and said they would eat there again and hence, so will I. Might try their Jaffna fries next time!“

“We stopped in on a rainy day for lunch. Received great service, food was delicious (pub type food) Learnt there's an outdoor back patio in the summer months with entertainment and an Italian restaurant opening upstairs. We'll be back to check it out.“

“Our Server Nicole was so very attentive to our needs. She was prompt in seating us, then coming to our table to ask what would like to drink, then a short time later to take our order. The food was delicious and each of our 5 extended family members thoroughly enjoyed what they had ordered. Various times throughout our meal Nicole checked in to see if we needed anything further.
