“Usually come here for the boneless butter chicken and biryani rice which is amazing and always delicious. Paired with some simple salad and dressing it really hits the spot. Skewers were great my favourite was the chicken. Great spot for awesome butter chicken and garlic naan.“

“I did a take out for two tandoori chicken orders with special instructions given that it was for an elderly person in a nursing home. I also followed up with a call and spoke with SAMIRA. She was not only personable to talk to but also willing to accommodate me with my request to have instructions noted on each of the two containers. My personal favorite is the lamb karahi. Its an absolute must with butter naan. For the quality, portion and pricing, its by far the best desi cuisine I've had. Definitely coming back.“

“I don't usually leave reviews, but this is my favourite comfort spot in Toronto. The food is a fun-take on traditional Pakistani street dishes and the flavours are still there. Portion sizes are pretty good. You have a great variety of both vegetarian and meat so there is something for everyone at the table.

I am consistently thankful for the staff every time I come here. Whether I am dining alone or with my friends - they are always kind and generous with their time and banter. The owner is very personable and funny as well with his deadpan humour.

“Been coming here since we moved to Downtown, Toronto (2 years ago). Kabul Express is one of best Pakistani restaurants in town. The quality is consistently high and the service is equally great! So glad to have discovered this gem near our home and we will keep coming here for a very long time. High recommended!“

“My friends always offered me to take here, but for some reason it’s always after 10 or 11pm, which definitely is not my time😅. Anyway, I decided one weekend to give it a try, with all that hype and crowd surrounding it. We waiting quite a bit for a table, since we were around 8 persons. We got aloo, egg and chicken parathas. All were pretty amazing. Aloo one was definitely my favorite. Chicken was okay, just a little dry for my liking.
Beef nihari was delicious and so was the chicken tikka masala. The ones that stole the show were the daal and Chana. Perfect, reminded me of my Pakistani breakfasts in Saudi.
Not the cleanest of the places, hard to find parkings, need to wait for the tables, but regardless worth the food, especially perfect with your gang.“

“You get what you pay for. I've got the TMU student offer deal. The portion sizes were great considering the price and the location. The taste was also pretty good. The service was quite fast. I would have appreciated if the tea was freshly made. It's actually automatic machine tea. However, it's flavorful. The ambiance is okay at best. It's run by just 1 person, so understandable.
Overall it's value for money.“

“Biryani was excellent! Ordered from uber yesterday. Flavours are rich and portions are extremely generous. A little on the spicy side but the mint yogurt sauce they provide cuts it quite a bit. Only suggestion is to cut chicken in to smaller chunks. I will definitely order again!“

“Tried their charsi chicken karahi and veal chapli kababs. The food is served fresh, and tastes good. Chapli kabab is a must try! If you like authentic peshawari flavour this place will give you that! Just note spice level is lower than other karahi places.“
