“Never had Pakistani food so this was our first. Spotted this restaurant randomly on the street and it caught my attention. Food was great and service is amazing, shoutout to our waiters Rahi, Asta and Yash to walk us through the menu and service with great hospitality. Will come back and try different things in the future.“

“Sachin provided an amazing customer service experience. Incredibly knowledgeable, and a positive energy. We've tried the food here before and it was incredible. My personal favorite is the lamb karahi. Its an absolute must with butter naan. For the quality, portion and pricing, its by far the best desi cuisine I've had. Definitely coming back.“

“I don't usually leave reviews, but this is my favourite comfort spot in Toronto. The food is a fun-take on traditional Pakistani street dishes and the flavours are still there. Portion sizes are pretty good. You have a great variety of both vegetarian and meat so there is something for everyone at the table.

I am consistently thankful for the staff every time I come here. Whether I am dining alone or with my friends - they are always kind and generous with their time and banter. The owner is very personable and funny as well with his deadpan humour.

“Been coming here since we moved to Downtown, Toronto (2 years ago). Kabul Express is one of best Pakistani restaurants in town. The quality is consistently high and the service is equally great! So glad to have discovered this gem near our home and we will keep coming here for a very long time. High recommended!“

“We visited Lahore Grill & Fast Food Restaurant in Toronto around 3 AM, and honestly, it turned out to be an amazing experience!
At first, my husband went inside alone. He noticed that the place was quite small and wasn’t sure what to expect. But the moment he stepped in, the delicious aroma of the food caught his attention right away. That’s when he called me in, and I’m so glad he did!
We ordered chicken biryani, chicken tikka, beef seekh kebabs, sweet paratha, sweet lassi, and chai and everything was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were rich, authentic, and truly satisfying. Every bite felt fresh and full of taste. It’s definitely a hidden gem, especially for late-night cravings.“

“You get what you pay for. I've got the TMU student offer deal. The portion sizes were great considering the price and the location. The taste was also pretty good. The service was quite fast. I would have appreciated if the tea was freshly made. It's actually automatic machine tea. However, it's flavorful. The ambiance is okay at best. It's run by just 1 person, so understandable.
Overall it's value for money.“

“Biryani was excellent! Ordered from uber yesterday. Flavours are rich and portions are extremely generous. A little on the spicy side but the mint yogurt sauce they provide cuts it quite a bit. Only suggestion is to cut chicken in to smaller chunks. I will definitely order again!“

“BEST VADAI!!! ❤️ My family and I always go to this store to specifically buy their large ulunthu vadai. It’s delicious and comes with spicy chutney, which is also very tasty. The service is friendly and the customer service is great. One elderly amma there is so sweet and welcoming. Parking is limited here but the food is definitely worth it!“

Amazing experience at Shaheen Tikka House (747 Don Mills)! I ordered the chicken korma and biryani, and both were delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. The portions were generous, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even gave me a complimentary dessert on the house, which was a really thoughtful gesture and made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and excellent hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“

“He was doing renovations a couple of months ago..I was expecting dine in tables, but it remained the same with a couple of chairs and a shelf by the window.

The chef is only in Canada for a year, so I highly recommend that if you want delicious authentic Pakistani food, that you make it a point to visit before that... because this chef from Lahore doesn't disappoint.

You can dine in with a real plate instead of using take out containers.

If you're white and you like a dumbed down version of 'Indian' food...don't come here and complain.“
