“We tried the food truck for the first time while we were driving through Oshawa today at the food truck corral.

Overall it was a good experience, value for money was good and the chicken was nice and moist. The ladies serving were friendly.

Only downside is I think the 'crispiest chicken in the world' is a stretch. I wouldn't call the chicken crispy at all and we didn't much care for the coleslaw.“

“Don't buy anything from the Mary Browns in Oshawa at King St and Gibbons St. just north of the Oshawa Shopping Center. The past owner were of Asian nationality and the Chicken quality was top notch, and really fresh and hot. The new owners are east Indian nationality. Now, every piece of chicken has broken bones and blood throughout the meat. And it's not cooked properly, and soggy. Smells like the cooking oil was old as well. The staff was uninterested in working there, very sad employees.“

“I recently visited Church’s Texas Chicken on Wednesday, October 7, 2025, and had a fantastic experience. The place easily deserves 5 out of 5 stars!

“Since I moved away from Taunton road East, I've ordered delivery a few times from Uber and such. I've noticed a huge difference in the quality of the Big Mary sandwich. Apparently the Taunton road location changed to this one and their sandwiches were so good. Always tasty and juicy never greasy. The last few times I ordered from different locations, Unaware and the sandwich was very dry and even seemed smaller. Next time I order I'm paying better attention.
I just hope this location is indeed the one previously owned and located on Taunton, East and Simcoe.“

“This location has recently changed to new management and I couldn’t be more pleased! The food is always hot and fresh and the staff are always so friendly and attentive! They always get my order right. One of the gentlemen introduced himself as Shahbaz, he was very kind and was doing an excellent job at supporting his staff. “Mary Browns is one of a few of my go to places for takeout food when I'm going across Canada and this little and almost hidden away location was fast. I mean very fast, I was in and out in under 5 mins. No drive-thru but that is probably why it was a better, fastee experience at this location than others I've been to.“
