“I had Simba's during Ramadan this year, I haven't realized that I should post a review, so here I am. This is, without a doubt, the BEST chicken spot I have ever tried. I went there with my 4 cousins and we all were in love with it, I never knew chicken could be THAT good! We got 2 Ramadan specials and a combo meal, The Ramadan special was amazing, the fried chicken sandwich, the smash burger, the tenders, and the fries were all so good. “This franchise has changed but still the same friendly owners. They really are everyone’s mom that’s trying to feed you good food and good vibes.

That alone is a great reason to visit but the food is really good too.

The menu now focuses on kalguksu and mandu (flavourful Korean noodle soups and dumplings, respectively). If you’re up town/ in the Scarborough area this is a great option for kalguksu.

All their food is really full of soul and flavour.

Definitely worth a visit. I’m sure I’ll be visiting them a lot in the future.“

“Tried BBQ Chicken and it definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was super crispy on the outside but still really juicy inside. You can tell it’s made fresh because the texture and flavor were on point. The sauce was perfectly balanced — sweet, savory, and just the right amount of kick.

The portions were generous and everything tasted really high quality. If you like Korean fried chicken, this place is a must-try. I come here all the time and it never disappoints. The owner is really kind and always smiling🔥😊“

“I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this Chick-fil-A location. I have been coming here every single Friday for what feels like forever, and somehow they never disappoint. Out of all the places I could go, this is the one spot I consistently look forward to every week.

The customer service here is honestly incredible. Every single employee I’ve interacted with has been kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely seems happy to help. You can tell that the team works hard to create a positive environment, and it makes such a difference. The staff always greet customers with a smile, and even when they’re busy, they remain friendly and efficient.

I have to specifically mention the Friday night team because they are absolutely amazing. There is one gentleman who I believe may be a manager (although I’m not completely sure) who is always so friendly, professional, and welcoming. Every time I see him, he goes above and beyond to make customers feel appreciated. Employees like him are the reason people keep coming back.

Now for the food perfection every single time. My order is usually a sweet tea and a large fry, and somehow they always get it exactly right. The sweet tea is consistently fresh and delicious, and the fries are always hot, crispy, and generously filled. It might sound funny, but I genuinely spend the week looking forward to my Friday Chick fil A run. Nothing hits quite like that sweet tea and those fries after a long week.

What I appreciate most is the consistency. Whether it’s busy or quiet, whether I’m dining in or taking food to go, the experience is always excellent. That’s rare these days, and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back week after week.

I'm not sure if the oil used now to fry the chicken and fries is old or a bit stale but my throat is not happy after eating our meal. Original review: I can't believe I've waited this long to do a review on this Mary Brown's location. Of course, Mary Brown's makes fried chicken. We know that. However, one thing I've come to realize is that not all franchises are created equally. I've been to other locations where the chicken feels greasy or ones where I'm convinced the oil is old and the chicken tastes subpar. That is not the case with this Mary Brown's location. I've been quite a few times now and each time, I'm completely satisfied with the quality of the fried chicken. The chicken is made well, it's crispy, flavourful (and not too salty) and moist without being oily or greasy. Dare I say, this chicken makes me happy!

On top of it all, you have to try their taters. Coated and seasoned, the family likes to dip them in gravy and ketchup but I personally love their poutine drenched in gravy and cheese turds. The gravy is rich, savory, and a perfect complement for these taters.

Located close to Chester subway station, this Mary Brown's Chicken on the Danforth also has a patio that can be enjoyed in the warmer months. Staff at this location are pleasant, professional, and friendly. This is one Mary Brown's location is one I plan to continue to visit!“

“AMAZING! I had these chicken wings at New Year's Party and had to find out where they were from. SUPER happy with my own order. They're fully cooked which means they heat up super quickly (and I don't have to worry about undercooking) which is SO convenient. Sauce is great and plentiful, but the price point is even better and cannot be beat.“

When I ventured towards the location I saw the golden glow of the sign displaying the greatest chicken shop of all time. “I’ve had consistently positive experiences at this Jollibee location. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and takes the time to make sure every order is correct.

A special shoutout to Sheelah, who happily took my order with a smile the entire time, it really made my visit enjoyable. I’d also like to recognize the female manager (I believe) who was working on July 23. She patiently opened every glass tumbler for customers who purchased one so they could inspect it for any damage. I’m sure it wasn’t the most exciting task, but she handled it with such a positive attitude and a smile on her face.

Despite being a very busy location, the restaurant is clean, organized, and you can tell the staff works incredibly hard. I’ve become a big fan of Jollibee’s chicken sandwiches and spaghetti. I’d highly recommend this location for both the great food and the outstanding customer service.“
