“best portions and the cherry slushy is on point. Not watery at all The one in kanata must have a broken slushy machine because there's a huge difference. I think it's been new management for a while now and they're definitely doing well now.“

“I really like Menchie's as a whole. They're got a good variety of flavours and toppings and I always end up spending less than I expect to. The servers are pleasant, if a bit inattentive and the patio is quite nice in the summer. The biggest problem with this location is that it often feels a bit run down. The machines are often a little wonky, often dispensing almost liquid froyo, there's sometimes garbage or sticky residue left around and the toppings, especially the cooled ones, are sometimes depleted. Though I think this just comes from the fact that the location itself is too small and understaffed for how busy it gets.“
“I come from a place that prides itself with ice cream, but after getting my hands on malak’s vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, pistachio, cookies n cream, black cherry and more flavoured ice cream, it made me forget all about the ice cream i enjoyed for most of my life.This was truly the best and most delicious gelato I ever tried.Cant wait to have some more.“

“Roll’d Up is the cutest little ice cream spot in Ottawa - and honestly, I probably come here a little too often! The rolled ice cream is fresh and fun, but their cheesecake is truly the best I’ve had. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and make the experience even better with their excellent service.“
“We went in a class trip to the playground, and called ahead to let them know the students would be buying ice cream at the Beach Shack. It turned out to be a rainy day and they opened for the students so that the students wouldn’t be disappointed. They were friendly, kind and helpful to the students and we appreciated the fantastic service. This is the second time we have taken our students here and would highly recommend the Beach Shack.“
