“I’ve visited the McDonald’s at 1880 Carling Ave, Ottawa, several times, and it has consistently been a great experience. Although this is one of the older McDonald’s locations in the area, it is very well maintained and kept clean. The dining area is neat and comfortable, making it suitable for both families and casual meetings.

One of the highlights of this location is the friendly and polite staff. Every time I visit, I’m welcomed with a smile, and the team is always courteous and professional, making sure customers are satisfied with their orders.

There’s plenty of free parking available, which makes it convenient for dine-in customers. They also have a 24/7 drive-thru, which is perfect for late-night cravings or quick meals on the go.

Another feature I appreciate here is the refillable drink fountain, allowing you to refill your beverages during your visit. The washrooms are also well-kept, clean, and properly maintained, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere.

The surrounding area is taken care of too, with the exterior kept clean and tidy. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick meal, meeting friends, or grabbing a bite with family, this McDonald’s location is definitely worth visiting. I’ll certainly be back again!“

“I visited this restaurant recently in the morning , and I was so impressed by the manager. Even though it was very busy, she greeted everyone with a warm smile and made both the staff and customers feel welcome. When I visited again with my kids, she was just as friendly and engaging with them, which really stood out to me. It’s rare to see such genuine kindness and professionalism, and it truly made our experience special. The most recommended one.“

“I live across the street so I come here often. Staff here is always so nice and welcoming. In special this one guy with curly hair that usually works nights and who I believe to be the manager. Always a smile in his face don't matter how busy it is. He is the literally the GOAT.“

“This is the cleanest McDonald's that I have ever been inside. The gentleman who was in charge of cleaning the dining area was exceptional. He did not stop for the entire time that I was there (checking bathrooms, cleaning tables, changing the garbage, etc). The washrooms were spotless and you could eat off of the floor in the dining area. Well done to management & most importantly to that employee!“

“Shoutout to the cashier serving customers in the dining room. She had red highlights in her hair. Didn't catch her name but really appreciated her asking me if I liked my coffee more sweet and bitter, rather than just making it however and handing it off, like most McDonald's do. She had a warm smile on her face and called me by name instead of my order number, which felt very personalized. “The employees at the drive-through are always friendly and showing great customer service. I went inside the other day during lunch rush and the manager seemed like the sweetest person. Keeping his cool under pressure, paying special attention to detail and orders, and calling/handing out the food to every customer with a smile on his face. Great team effort.“

“I have to change my review for this place from average to absolutely amazing.. the employees are all really really nice and great at their jobs same with all the swing managers, but there's ONE swing manager named Antonio who's absolutely amazing and goes the extra mile with EVERYTHING.. amazing attitude to making and prepping food and drinks all the way from being super friendly to how much ice you want in your pop or ice coffee... And the store manager is an absolute sweetheart as well and always remembers returning customers and gives her location a small town friendly and fast feeling rather than a here and gone give me your money food court feeling... I can't say this for many locations of any fast food restaurant but when coming to this place you get what you pay for from amazing customer service to properly and hygienically prepped food and drinks to emaculatally clean work stations... “We dropped by Walmart just before the end of the day. The McDonald was getting ready to close. On my way out of Walmart, I ordered several Junior Chicken Burgers as late night snack for my family. They turned out to be the best they’ve tasted. Fresh, hot and juicy.“

“I had a big Mac, fries, and a sprite the big Mac was probably the best one I've had incredible to be honest the fries you could tell they weren't fresh but the BBQ sauce saved them the sprite has little to none carbonation the reason it's a 4 because ik they can do better because it's usually always fresh fries and high carbonation drinks I would recommend this place the service was fast as always and just so yk the ice cream cones are the best ice cream you will have it will get you addicted to the food and the smell there big as hell Aswell now

Kid-friendliness: Everyone knows they have the happy meal with apple slices chocolate milk if you want a mcflurry they recently made a smaller version

Wheelchair accessibility: There are some slopes to get in but you would need somehelp for the curb altogether I think it's wheelchair friendly“

“I went to this McDonald at around 9 pm. What really surprises me was the fact that how quiet, clean and peaceful the place was. Since there wasn't a queue it only took them about three or four minutes to get my food ready. The staff were very polite and the food was great. A serendipitous experience.“

“I don't usually eat mc Donald's. Most of the time I only get coffee. That's all I got here and that's what my review is for. I asked the server behind the counter to see if the pot was fresh. He said he just made one but he'll make a fresh one if I wanted to wait. Much appreciated I waited for a new one. Had 3 large coffees and they were good. I'd make a different review for the food“
