“We went to this restaurant randomly as we are looking for some Hakka food.
This is one of the finest restaurants in Durham region for the Chinese Hakka food.

Their quality and quantity is unbeatable and one plate of any food is able to serve 4 people in the table.

“The food here is pretty tasty. It is a bit overpriced. $23.88 for beef brisket noodle soup is steep. However, the soup was very good with a hint of tomato.

The fried chicken wings were delicious, $10.99 for 6 pcs. This was a bargain compared to other food items.

They do have some specials like preserved pork and sausage in hot pot rice $15.99 +$1 for drink.

The service was a bit slow, but there's only one line cook so understandable. If you are visiting the casino or attending a concert, the District Food Hall has some great options, and I recommend Sun Express for some delicious Chinese food.“

“I recently visited Chopsticks: Modern Stir-Fry Asian Restaurant located in the Humanities Wing at 1265 Military Trail, Scarborough, and I was thoroughly impressed. This gem of a restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional Asian flavors with a modern twist, all set in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm ambiance. The decor is stylish and contemporary, yet it retains a touch of Asian heritage, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special gatherings.

The menu is diverse and exciting, featuring a wide array of stir-fry dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. I tried their signature dish, the Szechuan Beef Stir-Fry, and it was absolutely delicious! “It’s hit or miss, but when these guys decide to cook up a delicious meal, they deliver. My only feedback is that they need more flavour in their rice. Maybe a little oyster sauce and sesame oil? It’s very bland tasting.General Tao chicken (although I think they recently changed the coating), Singapore noodles (needs a little more curry but the shrimp is always cooked to perfection) and mushroom egg foo young are the best around.“
