“Amazing chef’s tasting and attentive staff!“

“Went for dinner last night before going to a show. The menu was a bit out of our normal experiences but we wanted a different experience. Or booth was comfortable. Jason answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they probably were for him. He was engaging but not over the top - very likeable. We tried four of the spicy dishes and they were all exceptional! We did not try the skewers, which we now regret, but we will go back to do that for sure. What a great dinner experience! Thank you, Jason, and your team. We even enjoyed seeing your take-out container in action 😉.“

“Good food, good vibe. Weekday lunch special for $20 is the game changer. Service is good. Taste even better. Compared to other places, little less parking spot but that's not a big deal, all over its a nice little great restaurant. We specifically surprised by how only one Cashier could handle the service + cashier job everything nicely. They have good Thai & Viet food choices and their taste also very good according to my wife who is Chinese Vietnamese. We had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for both casual and special occasions. “It was incredible. I was a little confused walking in, since they share their front counter with a different bakery business. But it was a wonderful experience. We sat at the Chef’s Counter. The chefs were all friendly and kind, and it was good to see them enjoying themselves.

And the food was delicious. My date and I got 3 appetizers, one small plate, and two big plates. It was more than enough food for the two of us, and we took leftovers home. The Char Siu was to die for; melt in your mouth delicious. We plan on coming back eventually.

It’s a pricey option, we spent about $250 CAD including food, drinks, and tip, so this isn’t going to be a place we can eat regularly. But it is definitely a place we will come back to for another nice night. Well worth it!“

“My boyfriend and I found this spot on a whim on a rainy day. Little did we know, we made the right choice! The games were completely free to play which was endless fun and the photobooth was only $2!! We got drinks and they were delicious, also I recommend the Chun Li Chee Shooter; its peachy and sweet like lychee despite the dark liquor. 🥃 We love this place and made amazing memories!“

“If you want a quick and accessible peking duck experience, this spot is for you. Got the quarter roast duck combo and upgraded the noodles to popcorn duck. While not fine dining, this was tasty and filling especially for the price. Definitely recommend Xihe for a no frills peking duck experience that hits the spot.“
