“We come to Maria’s whenever we’re headed to Lexington for a day trip. Today was no different! However, it’s our first time with our youngest. He’s newly one and definitely has a voice! As any baby, his voice cannot be tamed nor controlled because we’re in a public setting. While waiting for our breakfast, he started to get loud and antsy - probably hungry since we already drove an hour from home. A gentleman at the restaurant was simply not okay with the noises and very loudly and abruptly yelled for us to quiet him down. The entire restaurant fell silent. Everyone looking over at us but with complete sympathy, reassuring us he’s just a baby and there’s not much we can. And how appalled they are someone would ever make a comment. Still continuing to try and keep his voice down with anything on the table that I possibly can, he yelled again. & the man a second time, yelled “QUIET!!” At this point, I of course broke down. I’ve never been out in public and someone yelled at me to get my 1 year old to stop making noise. I’m also not a parent who doesn’t care and let’s their kids do whatever. We were trying all we could because we also are respectful of others dining. This is where I need to say how much I appreciate the staff and Maria herself. All the employees were coming up to me, giving me a hug. Trying to console me. Brought suckers for my boys. Maria wouldn’t even let us pay for breakfast, which we wouldn’t let but she insisted! People at other tables were coming up and talking to us and letting us know how unnecessary the comments were. To Maria, staff and all the people who showed us kindness, thank you. Thank you for understanding. Thank you for letting me know you’ve all been through it at some point. Thank you for reminding me that a baby is a baby. Your kindness will never be forgotten. “Love the staff and excellent food. But I rate it 1 for take out orders. Portions are half the size recently in take out orders yet same cost. I did complain to 1 waitress about my past two orders of take out being half/less than half size in portion than eating in and said I hope I get a full order this time. NOPE...this 3rd order was even smaller in portion size. The waitresses there did say take out orders are now smaller portions. well,...we won't be doing take out anymore. 🤷‍♀️ We were currently eating their at least 3 times a week till my husbands condition now prevents us on going out now most days.“

Stopped through for a quick bite to eat downtown, had such a great time joking around with the staff that we stuck around to check out the arcade too!Definitely will be back for the nostalgic pinball and the very reasonably priced arcade downstairs.If your trip to the lake gets rained out,you can spend a whole day in here catching a show,grubbing lunch,and rocking the arcade games. ?S/O to super friendly staff Tim & Becky for showing us around our first time. ✨“

Not a fan of the dill dressing… it won’t deter from the restaurant but that was the best dressing around & I sadly miss it! For the good of the public please bring it back!!!“

“We stopped in on 3/14 for dinner. Place was packed. I’m not sure exactly who we had as a waitress. But the service and food were EXCELLENT! As busy as that place was, our waitress kept up. We sat next to the pool table area, and our 2 boys were playing pool in a very tight area. The patrons in that area were super nice and understanding of our kids just trying to play a game of pool on a busy night. Thanks to the staff, we really enjoyed the night out at the Lynwood!!! We will be back again soon, this was definitely a 5⭐️ experience.“

“This is my second time at Anne's Diner. Both times our meals were amazingly good. I recently moved nearby, so it is convenient to be so close to Anne's Diner. Tonight my 10 year old great grandson had chicken tenders and fries and he raved about how good it was and gave it a 10/10! He wants to come back for breakfast. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken Parmesan dinner. The service was outstanding and the business was very clean. We have definitely found out new favorite diner in " Anne's Diner".“

“Great food, I got the choose 2 BBQ combo and it came with 3 great sides a classic side of fries, garlic bread(goes good with the Nashville hot chicken crispers) and Mexican Street corn. For the main 2 options I got the Nashville hot chicken crispers and brisket quesadilla which was a very hard choice considering how many options there are. The chicken crispers were very flavourful but next time I would personally get ranch with them considering I'm not that big of a spicy food person and the brisket quesadilla was very good also. I would definitely go back and order the same thing or get something different depending on how I feel but overall great experience.“

“Quality Continues through COVID This week has been a hard week and with numbers growing our house was looking for comfort food. That is exactly what we got. Food arrived warm via Uber eats and the portion sizes and fair. We started with the cheese curds; served with a rich gravy, both were delicious. For our main courses we had the Buffalo chicken and sweet chilli shrimp wrap. As usual both wraps were loaded chicken and shrimp and not with filler lettuce; a personal pet peeve of mine. The Buffalo chicken had great flavour and chilli shrimp was sweet with a slight zing. Our side dishes were onion rings and cactus potato’s. If you like cactus potatoes with a bite then you should try these. Just crispy enough with a burst of flavour in each bite. The only downside to our dinner were the onion rings. They were a little under cooked for my taste; I prefer mine crispy. They were saved by the dip that came with it. Rich but not overly so that it over powered the pairing. Another win for Twos!“

“I've been to many Harvey's before. The one thing that I noticed with this store is that the employees were not rude with the customers. Sarath and merrium were really helpful and super friendly. Food is consistent and good. Can't even beat the customizations that Harvey's offers. Would suggest to expand the parking facility.“

“We 10 have gone there weekly for years. Now another 10 go monthly. Why? They can accommodate 10 people easily due to their size relative to other options. And location. For the monthly group they have a semi-private (garden) room. The food is fairly priced for adequate quality. But the primary reason we keep returning is the friendly and competent wait staff. Our favorite is surely Molly. She always smiles and acts like she's glad to see us. It makes us feel good and starts our days out great We appreciate her.“

“The Zebra lounge has been under new ownership for a few months, and as with any new business owner, they are constantly learning. With that being said, I had a business meeting there yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed my food and service. I was back there this evening for some drinks, and Carla went above and beyond for our group. She was absolutely amazing. Her personality was the icing on the cake. Definitely looking forward to being back!“
