8 Best American Restaurants near Port Colborne

“While visiting Port Colborne, we decided to have lunch at this Family Restaurant. The place was actually bigger than it looks when you first walk in. It was a popular place and there was a bit of a lineup, but it moved quickly. They had both a breakfast and lunch menu, so lots to choose from. We decided to get the spinach & feta cheese omelette ... and an order of Eggs Benedict. The home fries that came with the meals were really good, however, the English muffins under the Eggs Benedict were a little burnt on the bottom. Also, their brewed coffee was not the best. Having said that, it was still an enjoyable meal with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. Was reminiscent of restaurants I have visited in the States with wholesome home-cooked meals. Very satisfying and filling. Just a heads up though ... they only accept cash and they close at 2, ... but there is an ATM machine right on the premises. ? I recommend going here if you're in the area and don't know where to eat. ???“

“Whenever I'm feeling like a hamburger (and too lazy to grill one) Harveys is the only logical choice. Service is always prompt and friendly and, let's face it - Harveys is the best hamburger and onion rings you can get from a drive through joint. I don't go often, but I'm always satisfied when I do.“

“went for a much needed breakfast date this morning. one order of the blue Star breakfast, steak was delicious and much larger than expected. one order of French toast and bacon. everything was cooked perfectly and so delicious. great service as well. can't wait to go back“

“My friend and I went out for dinner and had a server named Karlie she was the absolute best. If you find yourself at Swiss chalet place make sure you get Karlie as a service she was so kind and got you everything you asked for in a timely manner and was so polite!!“

“Well, we drove from N Falls to Welland to try this outstanding pizza and wings. It was outstanding ! Pizza used cup & char pepperoni done to perfection and dough was fabulous. Chicken wings were huge and reminded us of Buffalo wings 20 years ago in Buffalo. No bruises on these wings A1 quality . They actual use butter and hot sauce for the type of wings we chose. Worth the drive and excellent price , staff was amazing .Ryan & Tracey got his down to a science . We'll be back“

While I understand things can be busy, a hospitality based business should have staff that can manage and politely communicate to customers what delays they are facing, projected wait times, and give basic customer service.“
