“Rosehall Run was great! Highly recommend it for a wine tasting. They offered us a private area to do our tasting (indoors on a hot day) and provided some exceptional wines that were exclusive to the winery.
Patty offered our group some nice insights on the winemaking process and was a great host!
They have some great spots for outdoor photos and offered a nice gift shop.“

“First time there today, won't be my last! Burger had amazing flavor! Bun was fresh! 🍔 My Son had the chicken fingers. Hand dipped! None of that frozen stuff here! He raved about them! Fries were seasoned to perfection 👌 I snuck a sip of his chocolate shake, which made me regret not getting one myself. 😔 Next time. Lol. Staff is very friendly & efficient!“

“Stopped here for a late lunch on our way home from the Sandbanks. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was simple and delicious. My fiancé and I had a lovely time and will be back the next time we are in the area!“
“This is our second stay at the Empress Inn and Suite. We finally found the perfect place to fully enjoy Sandbanks. My family and I find the room spacious for 4 people. The room is clean, large and functional! We are very happy to be able to shower and sleep in a comfortable bed after a day at the beach. We also like to have a little drink on the terrace at the end of the day!
Nearby activities: The small shops in the village of Bloomfield, the proximity to the village of Wellington (restaurant, the park❤️, the fort)
The Local Store is worth a visit to discover local artisans and the Sandbanks beaches are less than 10 minutes away.“

“Our visit to Prince Eddie’s Brewing Company this afternoon for lunch was an absolute delight! The highlight of our meal was definitely the tacos - they were truly amazing. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left us craving more. The care and attention to detail in crafting these tacos was evident and made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to sample some of the beers on offer, and we were pleased with the quality and variety. The beers complemented our meal perfectly, adding to the overall dining experience. Overall, we highly recommend Prince Eddie’s Brewing Company to anyone looking for a fantastic experience. The amazing tacos, clean and friendly outdoor patio, welcoming staff, and good beer selection make this place a must-visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back for more!“

“My friend and I were camping in the area and stopped into Picton during the rain. We were looking for casual dining and that’s what we received. Laid back, friendly and let me tell you (!!!) the fries were perfect and the onion rings were amazing!!! The young lady Amelia was a lovely server and we had a lovely chat. Kyde was also kind and hard working. We also enjoyed learning about their dedication to their year round customers and their section dedicated to those who hold them up in the off season. Very impressed with this place outside of Picton on the road to Sandbanks!!! Many blessings“

“Dropped by Slake Brewery for their Cherry Seltzer and other beers with my family of 6. Lots of parking!! We loved the open concept Interior design overlooking a beautiful viewpoint of PEC. They have a taco place called Rebel Taco which is the same thing as the brewery. They're both in the same location despite the Google maps location. Fun cozy vibe. Washrooms were clean. Staff was friendly for our off-season visit.“
