“As someone who eats burgers a lot, this was one of the tastiest ones I’ve had! I always emphasize that a burger should be eaten right after it’s wrapped at the place you order it. The toppings shouldn’t be overloaded because they change the taste of the burger. Never take your burger home or order it online if you want to enjoy it fresh!“

“Very nice sitting inside the restaurant with sports bar big screens and friendly place to eat and be there. We were in large group and I had Burger, wings and fries. All tasty and good quality, Also got to try East Africa style mishkaki short ribs, really tender with lots of flavor.“

“After going to their yonge and weldrick location for many many years, I happened to be in north Richmond hill (yonge and king road) and saw this other location! What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.“

“The food portion compared to the price is relatively fair . The service is good . Just they need to increase their lighting in the store , adding Tv to the wall browsing the video clip that they had it on .it should be audio and video . It was a good experience.“

I ordered the Chenjeh kebab with rice, which came with a small yogurt bowl and a soft drink. I’m writing this after I finished my meal—so no photos, because it was too good and it’s already gone!

Our top favourite was the Xinjiang Red Willow Roast Lamb and the 4 small dishes with 8 lotus buns, everything paired perfectly and was full of authentic taste. Definitely coming back again soon!“

“Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. I went for the lunch special booth times I visited. They start you off with refreshing lemon water and lamb broth soup, with tiny pieces of lamb pieces in it. First time I ordered the cumin beef rice. It was flavorful, spicy and delicious. The second time I tried the braised beef brisket rice. Which was ok. Meat was tender but too much gravy for my liking. Also had the lamb skewer which was delicious. Will be going back again to try other items.“

I have been to a regular to a place next door to this, so we figured we try this place out, since it’s halal Indonesian food and close to where we live.
Well, I was new to the cuisine so we went with their recommendation.
For the first visit we got chicken satay’s, Ayam penyet, Nasi goreng and Mie Jawa. Everything was just exceptional. My kid loved the satay and mie jawa. Me and my wife loved everything else. Ayam penyet was smashed fried chicken with their spices on top. One the second visit we got the similar mains but also mixed satay. Beef was okay, I still prefer the chicken satay over beef satay. We got Ayam beker (grilled chicken in their spices) delicious again as well.
The weekend special grilled fish was our recent visit order and it was delicious. Definitely try that if you are there over weekend.
The staff there is amazing. Free WiFi and parking. So that’s a plus.

“Hands down the BEST Burger in the city. Whenever I get the urge for a berg its hard to top my own,, A big pain in the arse. BUT no more!! Because Yonge Burger is is the best of the best Burg's in Toronto! French fries, onion rings are delicious too. Also, you can't beat the price. Also Quality & Service is outstanding.“

The portion size is huge. me and my husband ordered 2 combo- One wrap+fries+coke can (2 of these=40$ in total) but we couldn’t finish it.
