We had an excellent lunch at Eramosa Cafe. The Western sandwich and the ginger-lemon tea were delicious! The cafe is quaint and warm and just a nice place to relax. Afterwards we went to the Rockwood Conservation Centre for a beautiful walk. Recommended for a relaxing country outing.“

“I am a good cook and a good baker, and I am not easily impressed by food at restaurants because I find most of the time I can make it much better myself. I can honestly say this place truly impressed me. Everything is made fresh and is fantastic tasting! The creme brulee crepe was beyond anything I could have imagined. I was expecting a traditional simple crepe, but what I ate was a masterpiece! It was beautifully presented in a cup and had a deliciously indescribable brulee layer on the top and the cream was unbelievably delicious and plentiful! The pastries and cookies are incredible as well. I am truly impressed.“

“There was music outside of the restaurant that was quite loud. When I entered the restaurant, it wasn't much different. The place was packed with all sorts of people, but the majority were Guelph University students. It was difficult to secure a table. You needed to stay at the table you wanted or leave a jacket or something to claim it.
I had the Williams power bowl salad. The way it was described made it seem hearty and filling. I felt as if I had to eat every single leaf to be able to get nourishment. It wasn't enough. I was left wanting.
I would return on a different day and time to have a quieter meal and try a fancy drink. Their spring drinks sounded nice, like the matcha latte.“

“This is a lovely little cafe. It can get quite busy so I selfishly wish there was more seating, but realistically there is plenty of tables. The foods is really good and service is really good. Again selfishly I wish it wasn't a dollar to upgrade your milk choice.“

“We have been having lunch here after our Wednesday volunteer shift at the nearby Guelph Humane Society since 2022. More than great sandwiches, (we have tried many varieties, all so good!), coffees, salads and dessert offerings, customers are greeted by friendly staff that make you feel welcome and at home. 🥰“

It's the premier hard serve ice cream in Guelph.
There are only a few places to get scooped ice cream, and the boathouse is consistently the best for hours, availability, varieties.
Also...once you get your cone, you can enjoy a nice stroll along the river as you #gatheringuelph and enjoy.the Park.

“I had a hockey tournament in Guelph just this weekend and my friend recommended this place to go get a smoothie bowl. Just wow.

These smoothie bowls are so good and very healthy that I went 2 days in a row for a “in between games meal” and I was fuelled up.

Nice workers and a nice little seating area, but when me and a few of my teammates went in, it was a little small and there was a line out the door, so the space is a bit small for large groups.

But great place overall. Definitely recommend!

“Staff and the general vibes are always great, most of the food is good, and most prices are reasonable. They are licensed with some good drink options, and always have the best coffee.

I do miss the older version of the chicken tikka masala though. It used to be shredded chicken rather than slices with grill marks (you know the pre-cooked, processed-looking stuff? Not saying it is, but it looks like it), and I don't remember so many chunks of almost raw tomato. It's been awhile, so not sure when this dish changed!

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.“

“Pretty good coffee spot in the east end, where there are not as many options available. Service was top notch and good coffee. It wasn't busy when I was there. I just wish they had a few more options for food. There were only sweet treats when I was there, so I would like to see a few savoury options for a quick bite as well. Otherwise, great spot.“
