“A group of us came down from Ottawa for the restaurant show and noted some spots to try while there. House on Parliament was top of mind, as we run a group of pubs. We were sat in the upstairs and were served by the lovely Matthew Middleton (cousin of Kate) and he was top notch. He went along with our annoying restaurant jokes and jabs, he was thoughtful in recommendations, efficient - and I believe our operations manager tried to poach him at one point. Excellent food, excellent experience - we'll be back next time we're in Toronto!“

“Would 10/10 recommend dining here! Came here for a spontaneous solo lunch date and was received so warmly by the hostess as well as my server Chad. Made the whole experience so memorable! I ordered the salmon for mains and paired it with a delicious Montepulciano d’abruzzo. It felt like spring in Italy! The salmon was cooked to perfection with just the right hint of citrus and the salad had the perfect crunch to it. The nuts made the salad such a treat, I finished it off in the first few minutes, an excellent recommendation by Chad.“

“Love the dark and moody and creepy atmosphere. I suggested going through their cocktail and wine menu which is expansive and on the higher end price wise, but delicious. Their plates are shared-style so the quantities are quite small, and a little overpriced in my opinion. Would definitely still come back for more drinks!“

“WE LOVE CORNER PLACE!!! My partner and I are regulars here, we come here very often. A regular spot for Sunday brunch for us. We come for the mimosas and I’m obsessed with the breakfast tacos. “Fabulous neighbourhood bar with a very lively environment and friendly staff. Got the lobster Benny and pancakes for brunch. The lobster Benny was a bit too salty but the pancakes with sausage & bacon was very on point. Both dishes were huge and kept me full for the entire day. We keep on coming back in large part because the food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff friendly and helpful. (I ask lots of questions and they patiently provide me with the guidance I am seeking.) Great selection of beers, and the best pumpkin French onion soup anywhere, (partly because I've never seen it anywhere else, but primarily because it is delicious.)Belsize is definitely on our short list of favourite restaurants.“

“My fiancee and dined here last night to celebrate our recent engagement !. We started with the charcuterie board and it did not disappoint. It came with a cranberry and sautéed onion compote that I'd buy in bulk if it was available for purchase. Wonderful selection of hard and soft cheese and of course prosciutto and spicy salami. For our main we each had pasta, the seafood linguini was delicious. Shrimp, mussels,calamari all tossed with a spicy rose sauce. My fiancee had the chicken penne ,chicken was perfectly cooked and the alfredo sauce had wonderful flavor layers. We paired our App with a bold yet dry Malbec from Argentina, Blood Brothers IPA and of course I had a sauvgignon blanc to go with my seafood pasta. For dessert we had the chocolate cheesecake and the chocolate fudge. Both desserts were decadent creamy and rich beautifully presented. Service and atmosphere was spot on great music great vibes. It was our first time going to local and we will definitely be back. Great spot in the neighborhood can't wait for the patio to open!. She was both very friendly and patient with us as we were a bigger group of friends who hadn’t seen each other in a while and took a long time to order due to our catching up. We each had a tasty vegetarian meal and the Happy Hour drinks that night were just as delicious, especially their "shooters" options. My friend and I really had fun with those mini drinks. “I am visiting Toronto for the weekend and stopped at the Outrigger Tap & Table this afternoon. (10/9) I really liked the atmosphere and location on Queen Street. I ordered a Ceasar, Avocado Spring Rolls, and a Chix Parm Sandwich. Everything was excellent and my server Connor was very attentive, friendly and helpful as he recommended things to do while in the city. He told me he even made my Ceasar, which was very good. I recommend the Outrigger and will visit again next time in Toronto.“
